  • His picking technique is masterful

  • That first bit was a lot like Fredrik Thordendals Special defects

  • the nald man playing a tree!

  • what does M.A.N. stand for?

  • @tbeiber09

    Massive Audio Nerve

  • must weight a ton?

  • Hey, I like this guy's enthusiasm!

  • theres nothing here you couldnt do on a six string

  • @neilorourke71 Other than the fact that a decent portion of what he plays is outside the range of a 6 string.

  • SMALL PENIS MAKE UP?

  • @the77elcamino Guitar envy?

  • Sounds pretty much like all Fredrik Thordendal's solo stuff, but still good.

  • Quiero una de esas violas!!!!!!!

  • you know, I was thinking of picking up the guitar again since I'm about three bands short of musical satisfaction right now (I usually drum for 5-6 different style bands at a time).

well, after watching this.... I'm just gonna stay with drums.

    thanks a lot asshole.

  • His guitar is named "Future Breed Machine"? Quite Meshuggah, isn't it?

  • @RollCarne Yea and Roots Bloody Roots is plagiarism of Sepultura

  • Sounds like a Steve Vai impersonator to me from the first bit - not that that is a bad thing necessarily ...

The rest is silly, unlistenable. pretentious noodling on silly instruments I'm afraid.

  • @rediconoclast How so? Thats a leap, I don't think I can swallow your abstract bitch ways.

  • @7REDDRACO7 Well choke friend :)

  • @rediconoclast What kind of person says "friend- choke"?

  • What a smug bastard.

    Incredible instrumentalist though.

  • @Sodhats How so?

  • the people who disliked this have closed there minds to music

  • i understand that it must be incredibly difficult to utilize this many strings on a guitar, but he's pretty sloppy and its a little too atonal for my tastes. overall, im not impressed at all with his guitarwork, but i like his creativeness with those other instruments.

  • boring

  • Wow, the 11-string has a floating tremolo. That must be a BITCH to set up, lol

  • @JaketheSnakeESP it looks like only the top 7 are floating with a fixed on the lower 4. So maybe not too bad.

  • @jacosmith86 Are you looking at the bridge or the nut? Only the top 7 may have a locking nut, but it looks like all 11 strings are on the same floating trem

  • I love that little "Hello" to Meshuggah …

  • he must be german. he's just so efficient

  • @conorthealien He is swedish i think

  • he must be german. he's just so eficient

  • ,,,or perhaps he just want to show how he acutally is working,,,and think about music and M.A.N-songs?,,,,,,and to be an artist,,,,,and isn´t needed a little(!) bit narcissm in it, to be "true" artistic state of mind?!,,,Perhaps YOU`RE the one who´s trying to be hot shit.....and you´re just shit....

  • This guy really think's he's such hot shit. Fool.

  • This guy is selling his art guitars on a swedish website, writing that hes giving up metal.

  • That´s rigth,,,,,,,I´m am,,,,,in a way; I´m into freelance-business with studio jobs with my "exotic" instruments......

  • @Mdaman13 Yeah unfortunately he left M.A.N after becoming a bit jaded with music as a whole. Didn't feel compelled to play anymore, which is a shame because he is mega talented. He is appearing on the new Icon In Me album though I believe.

  • Sounds Vai-like, but very cool and impressive.

  • tiene como su mistica a lo Sol Niger Within ... iwual piul ...

  • do u have any solo projects ? i want to listen to something different than M.A.N

  • Maybe this was intentional just to showcase what he can do on that 11 string (and he can obviously do it extremely well), but this first song is a complete knockoff of Fredrik Thordendal's "Zeta 1 - Reticuli" from Sol Niger Within. Look it up on here if you've never heard it.

Even with that said, this guy has some serious string talent, wow.

  • @deusexvideos

What are you talkin´ about?! It´s not a rip off! It´s not even the same harmony keys, beside the different experssion and vibe of it!!! IF you claim that it´s rip off, it had to be exactly the same,,,But I guess that you´re not music uducated if you can´t (?) do a harmony analysis,,,, Do you actually think that - for example - J Haydn is a rip off of W A Mozart, because of the resemblance of those two guys?....do you?....

  • Future Breed Machine! xD Love it!

  • this guy is a nut case, fucking love it

  • @dszq1

I'm guessing you missed the part where he said "Art Guitars"

  • @dszq1 I guess the only part you paid attention was the 11 string guitar part, in nowdays it's hard to find a luthier who creates awesome instruments like these.

  • This guy is AWESOME!

  • sick ass hell

  • To any and all concerned about reaching across a wide neck.Do you see how he plays the thickest strings with little problem with reaching? At 1:42 he reaches the lower pitched strings and his thumb is on the tuners. At 1:49 he reaches across the width of the neck and frets the lowest strings somewhere above the twelfth fret with ease! His thumb is almost likely parrallel to the lower edge of the neck.My point is;some wonder how someone can play a 6,or 7 string bass with a wide neck.HERE is how.

  • fuck gay

  • Hahahahah, Let's go!

  • I love that elevator music. xD Great musican though ^^

  • @doctorfury ????Elevator music???I only wish!!To me it sound like soaring through a atmosphere of superheated gases!!

  • i thought it was kinda boring tbh, looked good but sounded boring, wasnt enough varitation of the strings

  • @Rambostylin ? Your insane....

  • OK... this guy is awesome.

  • How are tuned strings of your guitar, please?

  • I do enjoy his outlook with his music, I definitely look up to him in certain aspects.

  • Tem muita gente incrível nesse mundãoo!!

  • i have no idea why, but for some reason a guitar with that many strings kinda scare me lol. anyway though thats sick.

  • Not really my kind of music, but awesome musicianship. That first art guitar is pretty kick ass, too.

  • WTF.....IT LOOKS LIKE MACHINGUN

  • You are big musician!

  • Lets see an 11 string sweep!!!

  • @buttondiet And a third hand to keep all these strings quiet...

  • Woooooow , fucking awesome guitar!

  • at :28 it's like birds chirping

  • how many strings is it?

  • Ten-string-guitar. This is awesome

  • 11 string.

  • "Gliese 581" sounds strikingly similar to "Zeta Reticuli". But Thordendal's influence is a good thing in my book, the guy's music can develop into something interesting.

  • wow this guy is a real musician, music is all about expressing yourself and he does it by using different guitars or instruments

I didn´t know about this guy, he´s awesome

but I didn´t like the shape of some of his guitars, that make them lose their bauty

  • amazing!

  • This guy is bald...and yet he has long hair! WTF?

  • this guy is mad rad, but M.A.N. is just terrible

  • He definitely does take a lot of influence from Fredrik, but he still has a personality. M.A.N. are fucking garbage, he should start up a solo project.

  • Fredrik Tordendhal rip-off!

  • @kvide What are you talkin´ about?! It´s not a rip off! It´s not even the same harmony keys, beside the different expression and vibe of it!!! IF you claim that it´s rip off, it had to be exactly the same,,,But I guess that you´re not music uducated if you can´t (?) do a proper harmony analysis(?),,,, Do you actually think that - for example - J Haydn is a rip off of W A Mozart, because of the resemblance of those two guys?....do you?....

  • Rob Guz needs to do a solo album. While I love M.A.N, it would be good to see what he can do without limits.

  • This dude killed me. So weird and outside the box.

I like the coin trick especially. Really simple, but really cool sounding.

  • He doesn't have enough fingers to play chords on that. Hair = awful. But this is pretty cool. He's having fun. Nothing I would pay for...maybe his band is good. It looks like 11 strings to me. Without songs, I get very little from this.

  • Who says what is or what isn't a "song"?

  • Says the person who has wet dreams wishing they can play shred guitar.

  • Great!I love music that pushes boundaries! The guitar kinda reminds me of the shape of a Coral electric Sitar

  • i dont like the guitar but it sounds cool ;)

  • that is some awesome shit

  • I'm not even going to attempt to guess what the tuning is to that 11 string beast, but I like it! Not many people can work their way around an eight string. You make shredding on an 11 string so easy. Horns up.

  • Those guitars are fuckin' wicked & your shredding abilities are superb! 5*'s

  • i am so glad i stumbled across this video, it has really influenced me to try new things on guitar and other things, get cool sounds while still being metal as fuck instead of following what other bands are doing, thanks very much it had inspired me to create a song intirely on my own, guitars bass drums and vocals, all by me, my god i hope to wow my mates with what i now want to acheive and create

  • diggar din stil älskar verkling att lyssna på man.. jag är jobba polare med tommy sångarens bror..

skulle gärna vilja ha autograf av er alla..

  • dude you are fucking crazy in a good way.where did you get that twelve string at

  • This some one the most impressive multi string guitarists I've ever seen. The mask at the end takes the music you're doing at that part to a whole different level. Keep up the great work!

  • I didn't know they made 1 string guitars.

  • Yeah!Minimal instrument for those who wish to play the minimum.Or less!

  • kinda reminds me of fredrik thordendal

  • uhhh, Holdsworth / Fredrik much?

  • Kinda like Frederik Thordendal

  • Well when you're using an ELEVEN string with a ton of gain on top you're bound to have a little lack of clarity.

  • Its funny because you don't hear most of the stuff he plays here in the actual song....lol..... waste of talent he should just go solo

  • He has a solo album, it just needs to be released ! :)

  • I'm wondering how the thing can still be intonated right with 11 indiviual strings and no fanned frets. And changing strings on that huge Floyd Rose has to be a pain....

  • The extended range on the lower strings probably helps.

The fingerboard setup is similar to some orchestral double basses.

  • wtf is this, he sure can play but it don't sound good at all..

  • Holy f****ng shit.... this guy is too much!

BTW anyone can tell me the tuning that he uses in peacenemy?

  • holy shit is that an 11 string floyd rose????!!!!

  • Seems to me it was great. Definetly sounded much better than your "song three demo"

  • If the cheesy midi drums, bass, and keys weren't behind him, we could actually hear wtf he was doing! youtube audio SUCKS!!!

  • it was pretty cool. dude has talent, so...

    it was you

  • je ne sais pas si c'est le fait qu'il y ait autant de cordes ou si c'est le jeu du guitariste mais au finale je trouve que ca ne sonne pas!

une pelle a cordes en fait!

    décevant :(

  • awesome and very creative person! but i also find the guitar parts to sound very much like steve vai which is also cool^^

  • hahahahahahaha, u r funny ! :)

  • Dunno, but his hairstyle sure does suck.

  • Fan vad kul! Gött att se att du frodas. Hälsa Tony och lira järnet. :)

  • That's cool and all but to be honest, he only uses the deeper strings when playing chords. Not to say that it's not impressive but most of that "shredding" could be done on a 6 or 7 string. To shred all the way up and down the 11 total strings would have been more impressive than what really occurred.

  • Hmm...? Check out the parts in the beginning and then from 1:40, are these chords you think?

  • @exblank Hm,,,,Do you have the opinion that a piano player have to use all(!) the keys in a song t be considered as a good one?.........

  • That was sick. Fucking awesome!

  • Wow... That was fucking awesome! ^_^

  • Im done playin guitar now,i quit, thanks Rob.

  • riktigt fräcka prylar du sitter inne på :) Gitarrerna är apcoola! vågade knappt titta på din "roots bloody root" gitarr när vi lirade förband åt er och Textures.. såg lagom ömtålig ut ! Ha d gott /Skantz i Wasted Shells

  • You are the king!

  • Kick ass!

  • Wow Nice!

  • @volumedealer1 WOW ??? WHY DO U WRITE IT LIKE THIS< ARE YOU GERMAN??!!!!

UR THE TRASH THAT WASNT RECYCLED PROPERLY

MOOWOUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HA HA HA HA HI HI HA HA

  • @volumedealer1 OK you are bumb , ha ha ha hi hi he ha, waoooow

  • =O It's mighty ugly but it sure is a beast =D

  • Damn - 11 strings and he uses all of them!

  • Very impressive and inspirative stuff .. I love his sound on the second M.A.Ns album.

  • such a wtf feelin!

    Nice stuff! :D

  • F.kin awsome! So sick!
