Amen break was played live for the first time by The winstons drummer, back in 1968 during recording of a song called Amen brother. many would say it was spontaneous but i doubt it. It was just 6 sec. loop that they hardly repeated for several years. before it was used in hip-hop (and some slow archaic hip-hop) it was used in dubbing ian jamiaica maan. After that it got so repeated that no one wonder if it ever had been invented. Anyhow... its still a great track. :)
dubstep comes from London's early 2000s UK garage scene .... and ketamine .... not hip hop .... it started being inflouenced by hip hop this year (2009) so dont try proving people wrong with your "amazing" musical history/theory.. if you have no clue undleast have the decency to do a fucking wikipedia search so you dont end up looking like a fucking moron ..... ANYONE INTERESTED IN THESE MIXERS CAN GET THEM @ SAM ASH!!!! i got mine for $299.99 + 6% tax!!!! look online and you wont find it cheaper than 350 right now... also, the mixers are on sale, this and the 402 ($399.99) which i wouldve gotten but they didnt have anymore. the are a CLEARANCE item though so i guess korg is going to stop making them... i cant wait to play with mine and see what it does!!!!
don't think the faders are digital but they are very durable. the crossfader is definitely pro. upfaders are more for mixing than scratching. overall, i'm very pleased with this mixer.

don't think the faders are digital but they are very durable. the crossfader is definitely pro. upfaders are more for mixing than scratching. overall, i'm very pleased with this mixer.

slick mix mate ,the built in kaoss pad is it a full built in KP3 or is it a slimmed down version? .
Do the EQ's full kill?
Appreciate some more info cos I'm well interested in this mixer but there aint no review I can find and no localdealer

it has a built in mini kp. there are 5 different eq modes and isolator is one of them so you can get full kill if you want.
