Good rant. Internships are slavery for young talented people. I have no idea the best way to deal with the meeting, but I think now you've played out the worst case scenario in your head, you'll be better equipped to deal with it.
I think you should be happy to have this internship. It`s only 3 months. Don`t fight for one week of holidays. Show them that you are willing to work and you will get a better Pralitkikumszeugnis ;-)
Wage slavery is bad enough, but internships often are serious exploitation. People work a lot for almost no money (or in some cases, even none at all), and are controlled throughout the whole day, draining all their life energy off them. Oh and the exploiters often are "nice", it's what they learn - read some management books! It's a sick world.
2 Be aware, in a situation like this, that if you become overly emotional or aggressive or resentful, then your behavior may become the issue, rather than your rights.
Instead, assert yourself with the conviction you obviously feel, but without losing control or resorting to ultimatums.
You never agreed to a change in the original agreement. However fair your position, you will only get fair treatment by insisting on it. Your indispensability speaks for itself.
I have certainly been wondering where you were. It's good to see you. What an interesting career choice. As much work as your internship is, it must be fun. That said, can understand you not making videos here.
Hmm. As far as what to say about the time off. The sad fact is that when you're on the new person, you probably won't get what you want, even though it is an injustice.
