  • dont look that bad

  • That's so amazing

  • how long did this take in total?

  • @redishsetters Hmm... this was 2 years ago, but I think it was between 30 mins to an hour. Most the time was spent painting if anything.

  • That is one "aboard" video. =p

  • Thanks

  • Right! Odd responses for this video yet again.

  • they look really realistic :P the only thing taht si kinda off is the length. alot of tapers aren't super long :P But way to go. i'm totally gonna try this out. i just need to start making my real gauges. i'm making them to a size 0 :P its gonna be reall cool. and also instead of making the fake tapers with ur clay why not make real ones?? lol.

  • could i use playdough

  • @mosinmatt1 I guess you could... but personally, I wouldn't suggest it, playdough turns brittle when it drys out, but if you just want to do it, for the more fun side, go for it :]

But if you want it more, long lasting, I suggest you use a different material~

  • This amazed me.?!(; I tried it too it turned out great .xx

  • All the money spend on those materials will be the same price as 10$ ones ..and if u mess up

  • do all this or spend 10 bucks...

  • Polymer Clay would be the best to use,. holds up better

  • It wont load....i am gomna stay on my fone till i see it all!

  • This was so helpful :) I've never wanted to ruin my ears by stretching theme but I love the look of gauges, I made a couple pair already and they look awesome!!

  • Or you can buy some for $10......

  • That's really cool. But is it heavy? c;

  • @MikyMoo100 Thanks for the comment :D

Mine isn't heavy, it's pretty light weight & doesn't weigh down the ear lobes at all. But my design is quite small in general, so I guess the bigger you make it, the heavier it may get.

  • @ the comment down below mine mayb there parents won't let them dumb ass

  • God I hate when people use fake earings/gauges... They're too pussy to just stretch their ears!

  • @RavenousRavenousRaex

one of my ears are stretched to 02 but i'm only 1 and not aloud to stretch it any farther until i'm older so i like getting these ones from spencers or hot topic :)

  • You have amazing nails ;3

  • If you don't want to stretch it but want to look like you have...

Then buy a fake one for £5 from salamanders...

Their screw on so there is no possible way for it too break :D...

  • lol or u could just streach ur ears and make it look way better :)

  • That's awesome!

  • just stretch your ears. lol.

  • thanks now your awesome now my mom wont now wre i bought this man i lve your video its awesome

  • hi, can you use salt dough, its like something you make at home with water, salt, oil, flour... and then you cook in the oven? can you inbox me?

  • @MegaSarahmay

Salt dough is normaly more heavier then normal craft clays, but it can work all the same as long you know what your doing (e.g. too much water will be too hard to work with, along with too much salt will wreak it) so it might not give the same effect as normal clay but in all, feel free to try it out, it should work n_n

  • hey i loved your video and i love this !! =D

    i have a few questions ?

what type of clay dose it have to be ??? ; i have this gray looking clay i think its used to make pot and things , is this ok and just as good ???

is using pva glue better then clear nail polish ????

  • @thelittleapricot Thanks :]

You can use any craft clay, they should all be just as good as each other, only thing I'd ever suggest not to use is play-doh, yet I think that may be predictable ;P

For the final coating using pva glue or nail polish/gloss, either way it'll do, just with pva you not get the same shine as polish but their both good to use :)

  • @RoseAngels12

    hey great vid,

will this work with coloured modling clay

cause i have heaps lying around!!

  • @howtodo54 I would think so, it should work with many materials that are kept hard & solid, after finished being modelled. :]

  • omg! these are so cool thanks for the video!! i loved it!

  • cool
