I like both Tarja and Doro but I don't think the combination works on this song.. it calls for richer, more consistent vocals (Tarja) rather than more colourful, rockish vocals (Doro). Just my opinion.

ich find die stimmen passen bei dem lied einfach gar nicht zusammen. das ist allerdings auch das erste tarja lied, bei dem ich das sagen muss. allerdings ist the seer nur mit ihr genial!

Ich finde auch dass "The Seer" nur mit Tarja absolut genial ist und Live sogar noch viel mehr. Diese Version ist zwar nicht so schlecht, aber ich finde es einfach schade das sie den Song nicht neu aufgenommen haben. Sie haben einfach Doro`s Stimme in die normale Version hineinkopiert und an den Stellen wo nur Doro singt einfach die von Tarja herausgeschnitten.Man kann richtig hören das Doro`s Teile in einem komplett anderem Studio aufgenommen wurden, das schadet der Qualität ziemlich finde ich

Genau das ist das Problem mit dieser Version. Deshalb harmonieren die Stimmen auch nicht wirklich gut, die live-Version des Duetts klingt viel besser ! Hätten sie es nochmal zusammen aufgenommen, wäre es sicher viel besser. So wird Doro leider von Tarja an die Wand gesungen...

La verdad es que à mì no me gustò.

La versiòn original es preciosa, pero esto, no es un duo, solo encimaron la parte de Doro y mezclaron un poquito, por eso suena tan raro.

how can you not know who Doro is!? the most basic thing you should know about her is that she's one of the earliest female vocalists in metal, and she also pioneered female-fronted metal. if it weren't for her, all these female-fronted metal bands wouldn't be around.
