This elekid got me annoyed yesterday. I was at chain 41 and kept resetting the pokeradar but no shiny patch showed up ._. But I tried again today and it showed up at chain 8 weeee

pokemon pearl and diamond have no difference but they do have difference like in Diamond you catch Dialga and In Pearl you catch Palkia thats the only difference!!!!!

Mine was number two on a chain of six. I had no idea I would get so lucky that night; I was just stealing Electirizers from the little twerps. Since he wouldn't stay in any of the other balls, I pitched a Master Ball at him.

I named him Bumblebee. He's now a shiny Electivire. He'll be ported over to my Platinum game in a few weeks. And he is one very spoiled Pokemon. XD

Sorry, but I don't have any at the moment. Plus, my wifi is down. If you can chain for elekid then you can find electrizers easily. All you need is banette or stantler with the ability frisk on the 1st slot of your party and it will tell you if the elekid that you're battling is holding one. Good luck.

Nincada or butterfree with compoundeyes also helps because compoundeyes doubles the chance of it holding an item. So: Start with compoundeyes, to frisk, to catch or steal.

Yeah it can, but once you start the chain with elekid, it will increase your encounter rate of only elekids.

No, it's not cheating. The creators of pokemon wanted to connect the 3rd generation game with diamond/pearl. That's why we can encounter them. Yes, the GBA game will allow you to encounter it.

how do you know when to step into 1 of the 4 grasses?

When? You step into it right after you activate the radar. You need to have applied repel already and only pick the grass that furthest away from your character on the fourth ring of grass.
