I dont understand, why does it take longer to boot up with extra ram?

yeah i don't understand either. I think it has to start up the ram before the computer starts up. Sorry i couldn't help more :(

It usually gets hot from overuse. mine got up to 34c the other day.

when does temperature get bad? from overuse/high spec programs or just on weird surfaces..?
