almost all my friends dont like tony hawk but i always thought he was amazing. i've only skated a vert ramp twice and its so different than mini ramp. all i could do on it was drop in, frontside air below the coping and backside air like 4 inches above the coping. and its scary as hell so i thought if tony hawk does McTwists on one than he has to be amazing

yes; unless either has a foot of vertical, then you have an option to either ollie before the front wheels hit the coping or "bonk" your wheels to the coping to let your board fly.
