  • I miss showtime

  • BSHAFEE or whatever your name is. LOL. what a fool you are. Another Kobe hater. Now get off my dick and find a better way to kill time.

  • oh one more thing you little Kobe Haters. Eddie jones hated on kobe and was the most jealous of them ALL. Everytime Kobe had a good game, or dunked the ball or did anything great as he does, You would see a shot of Van Excel and EJ huddled in the corner with their mouths squirming like they tastes a limon. Oh yeah Head coach Del Harris=GONE. Now why in the blue hell would you think your pathetic 95'-97 team was any good??? Kobes 98-2011 team produced 5 NBA CHAMPIONSHIPS!

  • @willjk3025 stop spreading false rumors about topics you know nothing about. kobe has said many times eddie jones was his mentor when he came into the league. they were even friends before kobe's rookie season. eddie was like a big brother to kobe.

  • Look man Admit. your just a Kobe bryant hater ok. Little 17 yrs old kobe came into the league and stole Eddie Jones spotlight. LOL. See what all of you fools dont see is that kobe was a star before he even stepped onto the hardwood, before the NBA and had more talent than EJ. Yeah EJ showed some signs of greatness but he wasnt a KOBE by far. LOL. After Shaq joined the team in 97' and kobe joined shortly after the was built around those 2 superstars. LOL. Vlade=gone/Van Excel=gone/ and EJ=gone...

  • @karmatmor72

Oh i get it now what you meant ,thanx man!

  • @karmatmor72

    welcome back?

  • Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a Sam Bowie sighting!!!

  • Ahh the good ol days when it was actually FUN watching the Lakers. My fav Laker team of all time is the 94-95 team. And then they become methodical, hollywood and boring. zzzzzzzz

  • @IllastrateTV you jackass. The 94-95 team???!!! now one remembers that team dickhead. stop smoking crack cocaine man. Just weird...

  • @willjk3025 EJ, Elden, Vlade, Van Exel, Ceballos, Peeler...that was an exciting team.

  • type "short guy dunks" in the youtube search box to see a 5'5 guy dunking a 10ft hoop

  • i remember when this game was aired live - you had to be a eddie jones fan after that sh%t - you would think he was playing for the 76ers from the crowd reaction - i aint never seen no sh%t like that - jordan was only player i seen get more love as a visitor then a home team would

  • If there's a player who exemplifies the exuberance and excitement of that great '94-'95 team, it's EJ. Van Exel was the heart and soul but Eddie took your breath away. People also forget what a great defensive player EJ was. He'd pick your pocket without a second thought.

  • EJ was my fav player.defense was amazing, high fly act,he dunked on everyybody and i mean everybody! top 5 Lakers of all time.LAKERS ALL DAY EVERYDAY

  • I still say, the worst trade the Lakers ever made, was trading Eddie Jones and Elden Campbell for Glenn Rice. I agree the Lakers could have won 5 straight titles and have a Bulls like dynasty if they never made that trade.

  • @rebelranger you r right the only thing people seem to remember is that he couldn't make a jump shot or be a spot up shooter to be exact. that was not his game as you can see from video. the first footage was the real lake show (no divas) here in the first part of the video from philly game. all that team needed was a new coach. dell harris couldn't or lead that team.

  • @rebelranger

It's definitely one of the worst trades of all time considering how the Lakers ended up using Rice. Also he was an atrocious defensive player where as Eddie Jones was one of the best defensive players at sg...you might as well just have Kobe and Jones at sg/sf then Rice...even if he was bigger he didn't do anything defensively nor did he rebound lol.

  • Kobe looks like eddie jones on some of his dunks. I think the reason they traded eddie was because him and Kobe were like the same type of player, but Kobe was a bit younger and had more potential

  • "Mother call your daughter in!" Chick Hearn = Priceless... RIP

Philly fans chanting "Eddie..." = Priceless.

    Eddie Jones was a BEAST.

  • How come in one part he wears number 25, then in the other h was number 6? I thought this was all from his rookie year.

  • Yeah the last clip wasn't his rookie year. Seems like you already knew that he switched to 6 because they retired Gail Goodrich's number 25.

  • "Mother call your daughter in!" LOL!! Who DIDN'T dunk on Shawn Bradly??

  • Dunking over bradley. Meh :P

  • Haha. This is an old video of mine when I had zero skills. Judging by 143 K views, I think I might upgrade this one and add a couple more clips. The Philly gm was the night after Van Exel beat the Celtics in Boston at the buzzer. Loved that season.

  • this is nuts if u really think bout it

  • I seriously miss Chick Hearns, he made listening to bkball more fun than watching on tv. "Mother call your daughter in!" "Doors closed, lights out, the eggs are cooling and the butter is getting hard!" The guys at ESPN are a bunch of TOOLS.

  • mother call your daughter in

  • Someone correct me if I'm wrong (this was a long time ago) but didn't Eddie attempt a 3rd dunk on Bradley who proceeded to hit him with a vicious clothesline?

  • #VIDEOPOSTERID# dude, what else is there to say?. People who have fun playing basketball need to all know how to dunk, I only not long ago completed the exercise program at 50inch vertical[dot]com - and now I can dunk easily (Guess what, I'm only 5 7!)

Rookie Laker Eddie Jones amazing dunks

  • Who hasnt dunked on Shawn Bradley

  • chick hearn was amazing. miss him

  • I think Kobe was a rookie in this clip.

  • @tubenachos

Kobe was 16 at the time he was in his desk

  • @T0K0H The Bucks dunk was from 1996/97. The Philly was 94/95.

  • xmykro I'm 5 8 and I can do reverse 180 dunks. Truthfully, anyone can do it, just do the right workouts with the right nutrition. I recommend the training program at 50 inch vertical (dot) com but any workout could be followed if you know they work

Rookie Laker Eddie Jones amazing dunks

  • thumbs down to the guys below

  • I miss Chick Hearn Laker games :(

  • JOOOOOOOOONESSS!!

Eddie Jones I truely believe is South Florida's finest basketball player. It's a damn crying foul shame that the Heat traded him the yr before they won the Chip. Thanks to Fat Shaq.

  • nick van axel over fisher any day

  • i wish the lakers had kept eddie and nick with kobe and shaq i really think they would have won 5 straight all of them were all stars. have

    Shaq

    Horry

    EJ

    Kobe

    Nick

  • tru

  • @D332Fr3sh when they ditched/dealt Nick @ Nite and EJ... I was pissed. That's when I spotted being a Lakers fan... both men deserved to win rings wearing the Purple and Gold. Its cool that EJ got one in Miami, but shitty that Van Exel never got a ring.

  • @D332Fr3sh Horry was never an All-Star.

  • @D332Fr3sh I COMPLETELY agree with you, check out my video on them, Don't ever forget THAT squad!!! 97-98 Lakers!!

  • @D332Fr3sh Kobe wouldn't be who he is today if he had to play with Exel and Jones dumbass. They wanted to develop Kobe and they did! Kobe has won 5 titles and he didn't need either of them.

  • "There's a flag on the play" haha I love Chick

  • LOL i agree who didnt dunk on bradley?, but eddie had talent the lakers shouldnt had trade him, we all know kobe is the shit but he would've made a great backup for him.

  • I magine if the lakers didn't trade jones...teams trying to beat kobe at his highest level and jones and then shaq...

  • Shawn "Dunk on Me" Bradley. Who hasn't dunked on him honestly?

  • lol

  • He dunked all over that Stormin' Mormon. LMFAO!!

  • lakers should've never traded eddie jones, he could've and deserve to win a championship

  • even sleep walking elden campbell

  • "Mother call your daughter in."Wait what? What was that all about?

  • @abs1abs. "mother call your daughter in" means - there is a dangerous man on the loose. Flying Jones

  • not surprised its shawn bradley xD

  • haha and of course it had to be on Shawn Bradley.

  • Nick and Eddie my favorite players back in the day

  • why the hell was shawn bradley guaring him so far out?

  • sometime i wish eddie and kobe could have stayed on the team together they played one year and he was trader but when eddie left i was hurt he was and to this day my favorite laker he was so dope and its sad he didnt get a ring with the lakers .....fucking kobe lol

  • blame it on kobe!!! hahhaa naw well we got glenn rice in return and he did help us out... but ya eddie was my favorite laker player back in 90's....

  • yeah. and i believe shaq requested jones to be traded while he was in miami...

  • Jesus man, Shaq has a frikin grudge against Jones...or basketball players that stay in shape...

  • @Manbeast222

    you don't know shit

  • @Korver101 Why, does the truth bother you? I guess so....

  • Hahaha I miss Chick.

  • Eddie Jones by far the most popular player in LA at the time he played. Humble, hard working, and slick! Miss hearing Eddie, Eddie, Eddie.

  • eddie jones was the man back in the day. one of my fav players.

  • mother call your daughter in" lol.

  • RUSSELL WESTBROOK IS the next eddie jones

  • not

  • My god. This team made me cry and it made me cheer so hard. To me, they were the little engine that could.

Elden with his small hands, you'd open the window just a bit and Vlade would fall to the ground, Nick the quick doing his thing at the 3, Ceballos not faking the funk on his hocus pocus dunks, Tony Smith the defensive specialist, Sam Bowie what a block, Eddie the Gazelle, Dull Del tellin em what to do, and Chick n' Stu making every game feel so epic.

  • chic hern was the greatest commentator ever

  • I loved this team. Nic at nite! With EJ, AP, campbell, vlade, baba bowie, Lake Havisu. antonio harvey had mad hops. was pig miller on this team?

  • Bradley needs to come out of retirement :P

  • DAMN! he jump pretty far on 2:20

  • lol eddie jone was way better than ariza is...

  • coolcamahn, Ariza's got to develop the J more if he ever wants to get to what Eddie was in his prime

  • to all the dipshits talking out of their asses...jones did not win a ring with the heat. he was traded the season before they won the title. he returned to the heat after they won the Finals. look it up.

dumb mother fuckers always think they know everything.

  • lol im suprised no one else knows that either...

  • The last one wasn't his rookie year. I remember that dunk, I always thought he jumped from the FT line, but obviously he was a foot inside. Impressive, nonetheless.

  • he got a ring in 2005 or 2004 with the heat

  • in 2004 the pistons won and 2005 spurs won. idiot!

  • 1994??

  • jones did get a ring with miami heat

  • No he was with the Grizzlies that year. Sorry.

  • no he got traded to memphis before their championship season for jason williams and james posey. he then re-signed with the heat after the championship season, so he missed out on the ring

  • jones was an allstar but he played the same position as kobe so they traded him 4 glenn rice

  • am i the only one that thinks ariza resembles jones in a lot of ways... defense, hops, lankiness...

i know t mobile got their fave 5

mine is: Divac, Campbell, Ceballos, Jones, Excel...

  • too bad he never played on a good team. i feel sorry 4 him, he deserved better!

  • he played on lots of good teams.....just not championship ones....i mean if he stayed around wif the lakers he wud have been part of that party...and sum of his teams have been shit...he is awesome but he did have his chances

  • ej one of my fav. players of all time def when he was with the heat...

  • Ej he was talented.......i wish someone could make like his top 100 highlights or something lol.......those would be impressive

  • I really thought Jones was going to be a great one, on offense and defense.

    But unfortunately it didn't happen.

  • man that was impressive!! too bad he ended his career going from team to team

  • "he lifted like a helicopter and came down like a snow flake"...

"its 1st and 10 at the 15... there is a flag on the play... JOOOOONESSSSSSS!!! Chick, one of the greatest Lakers of all time.

  • Apparently being around Shawn Bradley boosts your vertical by around 6".

  • he was a beast man. I first started to watch the lakers when he would play with campbell, ceballos, van exel.

  • Shawn Bradley was the most dunked on 7'6 guy i've ever seen.....Eddie Jones yammed on him bad but T-Mac takes the cake.

  • Yo, if Shaq was there for the one against the Bucks, Eddie wasn't a rookie anymore.

  • legend!

  • man I miss eddie!

  • i miss chick!

  • what happen 2 him? does he still play????

  • wow, chick hearns' voice really excites and pumps up the game w/ his commentaries, how we miss him...

  • i miss eddie, i miss chick. I'd trade away a championship if we could have them back for another 10 years...

  • Both dunks were AWESOME, but that leaping slam in Milwaukee was un-freakin-beliveable..

  • he changed from 25 to 6 because they retired Gail Goodrich's #25

  • why his jersey number change?

  • Eddie Jones was picked 10th in the class that included Jason Kidd, Grant Hill, Juwan Howard, Donyell Marshall, Jalen Rose and many others. Very underrated players, but was forgotten after he left the Lakers.

  • He wasn't forgotten. He was actually an all star starter when he played in Charlotte.

  • Eddie use to play college ball at temple over there. That's why they were cheering for him. He's popular in Philly.

  • i mean it regular dunk wow

  • why are philly fans cheering for him when he is playing for an opposing team?

  • Because Eddie Jones went to Temple.

  • eddie jones was the original kobe bryant, he tought kobe the things he knows today

  • That's very true. This man is extremely under-rated and barely takes credit for the things he's done.

  • amazing! he was so cool before!

  • who doesnt dunk over bradley?

  • as much as I like the championship years (99-03). I miss the 90's Lakers.

  • slaaaaaaaaaaam dunk!

the one against Buck´s Andrew Lang (i guess) was incredible!

the crowd in the sixers game looks like lakers fans!

one of my favourite players,Eddie Jones #6

  • It was 1994/1995 season, Eddie's Rookie year.

  • What year was this?

  • ThePHENOM987 is right. Loved the team with Eldin, Cedric, Eddie, and Nick. Then later with Rob, Rick, Shaq and KB08. Too bad Phil didn't come 2 seasons earlier. That could have been a well coached squad.

  • a complete player

  • How about the late great Chick Hearns... man I miss " The Golden Throat", callin LA games. RIP Chick !

  • "there goes sedale threatt...yo yo'ing up and down" hehe.

  • Yeah those were great years !

  • eddies tiet

  • Ironically the Lakers lost that game to the 76ers as they blew a 16 pt lead.

  • Sounds right...hahaaa

  • my favorite laker of the 90's. him and cedric ceballos were the sht.

  • "its first and ten on the fifteen and theres a flag on the play" ahh man chick was the shit! i miss the mid 90's

  • haha classic chick, "the lakers bench is booing him after that amazing dunk","mother call your daughter in"

  • this guy was pretty hardcore back in the day! I'd like to see him come back to LA

  • Of all the original members of the "Lake Show" team of the mid-late 90s, Eddie Jones was the ONLY one I didn't want to see dealt in wake of them retooling the squad with Shaq and Kobe. Sure Glen Rice did an okay job since management felt they needed a pure shooter for a 3rd scoring option, but Eddie could do that AND SOOOOOOOOO MUCH MORE!!! I truly think he wasn't treated with that much respect IMHO. Heck, just about every Laker on the team hated that move at the time as well...

    :-(

  • people think eddie was the reason LA didn't win it all, but that's ridiculous

if you want reasons why LA couldn't win it's because Del Harris was an awful coach, Kobe should have been playing small forward alongside Eddie for a long time.

Also, the Lakers won after the NBA talent pool dropped considerably. The Utah Jazz, who eliminated LA two years, had aged while the Houston Rockets, who eliminated LA another year, also aged and lost players.

  • So true. I think EJ and KB could have been a great one two punch. Only problem is that EJ wasn't a consistent shooter...

  • eddie's 5th all time in 3 pointers, and will end up 4th b4 he retires so not that inconsistent. but his defense and attitude would have helped more than his offense.

  • i miss eddie! go lakers!

  • 1:36...bad voice crack!

  • idiot

  • i still have eddie jones jersey when he was number 6, he certainly was one of the best dunkers back then, for some reason he lost all of his flair as soon as he moved to charlotte. still one of my favourite players ever, it was a sad day when he left LA. im a lakers fan living in perth Western Australia

  • this sentences is one of the most hearded ever: "Another dunk over bradley"

  • hearded?

  • hahaha, sorry for my english, i want to say listened

  • was that mothafuckin shawn bradley?

  • 7'5 gettin dunk on thats pretty bad

  • are you telling that shaq wants eddie to be trade thats why the lakers pushed him away?

  • that is one of the theories

  • yeah shaq had problems with a lot of players; Nick, Eddie, Elden Campbell...

  • somewhat - the lakers couldnt afford to sign kobe AND eddie, so they had to make a decision. even though kobe wasn't very good when eddie left, it was the right decision because look how kobe turned out. if they somehow signed both they would have won 6 championships at the least. i remember watching a game in 1998 and doug collins says 'if the lakers trade jones, they will probably win 3 titles, but no more. if they keep eddie, they will be a dynasty.'. he was 100% right.

  • So true...

  • 69000 views lol

  • basketball jones

  • STUPID SHAQ traded EDDIE JONES and ELDEN CAMPBELL away for GLEN "Weak Sauce" RICE.

    EDDIE JONES > RICE

  • The Lakers won 3 rings after that trade, so as a Laker fan I can live with it.

  • @ewcorpuz YOU WOULD HAVE WON TWICE THAT MANY WIYH EDDIE JONES!!!

  • bradley always get dunk one

  • eddie's better than anyone i believe. not even kobe, glen rice, or anyone else.

  • Ever since Chick Hearn departed from this place, the Lakers fell apart.

  • as many times people have attempted and successfully dunked on shawn bradley, i have yet to see another person take off one step from the free throw line in game and dunk on someone. i loved eddie since he was a rookie on the lakers. "Can it be that it was all so simple then?"

  • Eddie Jones used to be my favorite Laker. My friends used to call me eddie when I played streeet ball

  • ME TOO!!! =D Eddie is that dude! Ah... The good ol days.

  • The last part of this video is exactly why Chick Hearn was the greatest commentary in NBA history.

  • What to the new lord?

  • He mispronounced bowing, you little fag. Guy was 80+ yrs old.

  • Would be understandable even for a 40 year old calling a game as fast and as detailed as Chick did. He had Sam Bowie on the head.

Jordan, the "little fag" assessment is an accurate one. Die.

  • I beg your pardon?

  • Wha'chu talkin' 'bout, Willis?

  • i guess this even further backs up my point that the NBA today is not what it use to be. you dont see this kind of shit anymore. and check out those bad ass uniforms. so FUCK NEW SCHOOL. i know this isnt old school either but at least 90s NBA is better then current NBA.

  • Oh my..

  • "mother call your daughter in!"

  • Damn sam bowie still on the lakers.

  • Shawn, meet Eddie. Ooops, too slow. He's come and gone.

  • try this one---> lux dunk

  • bradley is a fuckin' faggot,

    GO BACK TO CZECHSLOVAKIA
