@DrakillT Discussing abiogenisis/cosmogony as part of a larger discussion on evolution's basis is actually valid, in my opinion, & doesn't negate evolution. Their inclusion can muck up the topic, if the original topic is evolution & it's workings, but I can see the relation. Non-occult areas don't, in my awareness, follow the scientific method & so are NOT science. Like "intelligent design" passing itself off as a credible science-pathetic ignorance. One's personal experience is not proof.

To be clear-in the context of this video-if one claims "magic" (spelling aside) then one is obligated to prove this contention-if it exists and how so, in a repeatable, testable fashion. "I felt it" is not good enough. I am not obligated to validate physics against a contention another makes for magic. Kyballion next-1908

@DrakillT I may suggest something here...if a basic premise is flawed, then the details do not have to be explored ad infinitum. Meaning, unless you give me something concrete...like how occultism is as provable and valid as, say, a real, testable scientific phenomenon. I don't have to know the details of "crystal healing" to suspect BS, unless I am given a tested premise that can be discussed. Dude-equating mysticism with non-related things puts you on shaky ground. You claim, you prove.

@DrakillT Firstly, I don't give two figs for evangelical, mythological, dogmatic crap, peddled, falsely, as universal truth. Childish, sophomoric, ignorant, immoral. Secondly, theories discussed in science that overlap religious beliefs, like discussions on the Hindu (& certain Buddhist) views on cycles of time and the repeated births/deaths of the universe are just that-discussions. Often interesting, & when proven true with verifiable, testable means-acceptable. Until then-nice thoughts.

@DrakillT Hey-all are entitled to their beliefs, knowing beliefs are just that: beliefs, faiths, hunches. Comparing quantum physics & occultism is a stretch, to say the least. Things have causes, causes can be repeated, measured & tested. This isn't just "sometimes." Either the Enlightenment view of the universe is respected-or you have belief, a nice thought one chooses to entertain. Like I believe in Zeus-literally. The Gods are as real as gravity. Believe what you wish, doesn't make it real.

@DrakillT Thanks for the etymology of "magick." Didn't know this spelling had a real purpose, beyond trying to seem "hobbitsy." Makes sense, though both terms describe something---well, false, if you believe that magic tricks are real or "magick" spells have any effect on anyone other than the suggestive. Thanks for the info! (Do you really think this Cutter guy really, REALLY sees auras or is he far, far too wrapped up in his own fantasy world?)

I know exactly where your coming from with your knowledge of this topic. I myself am an individual who was searching for knowledge of these things do to experiences in my life. I have a comment about your thing about religion suppressing this knowledge. I felt the same way you did but came to a realization that what if this knowledge were to be used by the wrong people. Such as witches or black arts. I myself am a very positive person but we must realize everyone is not.
