@MrSpy3000 The Male and Female refers to the 2 variants of the British tanks used in WWI. Female variants only had machine guns while the Male variant had 2 6-pound guns. Nothing to do with the sex of the tank
@MrSpy3000 only a few small arms could have any effect on these early tanks, the modified Mauser with a reversed bullet which would just dent the armor and cause spalling, or a 13mm anti-tank rifle. and a pistol of the time, and even most modern pistols, can barely break through 5 mm of plate steel let alone the 20mm's of hardened steel armor that was on the A7V.
Damn, World War I and II tanks were awesome, modern tanks are just monsters that aren't about the human factor or the thickness of the armor or whenever it's sloped or not anymore, it's all about whose laser-guided cannon with autoreloader shoots first and reloads first while the crew sits back and does a bit of work. Just look at all those Soviet post-war medium tanks, they were so bloody low in height, they could hide behind basically any cover.

@SMGJohn The T90 uses components from the T80 but its chassis is based on the T72 to reduce costs. The autoloader although improved and means the tank only has 3 crew members, also is prone to jamming and can be dangerous to operate.
@nlomas Yes indeed the T-90 has a few designs taken from T-72 but that's standard, every tanks in the T series have almost same design, since T-34 they all have slope armor and since the T-44 they all are low profile and the number one design they have all in common is cheap in production. T-80 is a huge loop over the other tanks and the first in the series to actually be designed with one versus one battle in mind.

T-90 also is lower profile which means harder to hit and since it has slope armor which means harder to penetrate it's armor so in fact the T-90 actually has better armor in the front then the M1 if not superior. The M1 Abrams is a brick and tall and is a moving target for helicopters and artillery...

@MrSpy3000 only a few small arms could have any effect on these early tanks, the modified Mauser with a reversed bullet which would just dent the armor and cause spalling, or a 13mm anti-tank rifle. and a pistol of the time, and even most modern pistols, can barely break through 5 mm of plate steel let alone the 20mm's of hardened steel armor that was on the A7V.

Damn, World War I and II tanks were awesome, modern tanks are just monsters that aren't about the human factor or the thickness of the armor or whenever it's sloped or not anymore, it's all about whose laser-guided cannon with autoreloader shoots first and reloads first while the crew sits back and does a bit of work. Just look at all those Soviet post-war medium tanks, they were so bloody low in height, they could hide behind basically any cover.

The M1A2 MBT is prone to anti tank weapons, modern T-90 MBT are, if not superior to the M1A2 MBT.

And the Iraq Forces had vintage T-44 and T-54 that is very good kills you got it's like killing a car with a heavy tanks... There was however a few T-72 but they where in poor conditions however they managed to take out 20 M1A2 Abrams

@SMGJohn The T90 uses components from the T80 but its chassis is based on the T72 to reduce costs. The autoloader although improved and means the tank only has 3 crew members, also is prone to jamming and can be dangerous to operate.

@nlomas Yes indeed the T-90 has a few designs taken from T-72 but that's standard, every tanks in the T series have almost same design, since T-34 they all have slope armor and since the T-44 they all are low profile and the number one design they have all in common is cheap in production. T-80 is a huge loop over the other tanks and the first in the series to actually be designed with one versus one battle in mind.

@SMGJohn The T80 use a gas turbine powerplant so its not cheap, the T80 is an improvement on the T64. The T72 was a cheap alternative to the T64 and was intended for export. I know all about Russian tank design during the cold war. My comment was purely to outline that you don't know a lot about the current subject apart from what you read on wikipedia. You said before that the T90 is an upgraded T80 which it isn't, its uses both T72 and T80 parts

T-72 was not 'intended' for export. Only reason it exists in such vast number outside Russia is because it was given to allies, after the collaps of Soviet Union allot of T-72 was sold to many nations. T-80 again uses basic design of a T-64 but is upgrade of T-80

@patton395 The T-90 uses standard Soviet designed armor but it has heavier armor then the M1 Abrams in a few areas while the M1 Abrams only outmatched the armor of the T-90 in the front.
T-90 also is lower profile which means harder to hit and since it has slope armor which means harder to penetrate it's armor so in fact the T-90 actually has better armor in the front then the M1 if not superior. The M1 Abrams is a brick and tall and is a moving target for helicopters and artillery...

Having sloped armor doesnt mean it is invulnerable and plus if you look at the pictures of abrams the front of the tank is sloped down
abrams tanks are able to fucking operate when a RPG-7 hits it and the abrams is much more powerful than t-90
if you dont agree just type which is better t-90 or a abrams in google 90% of the guys will say abrams since its more well rounded

T-90 has a system that where a missile or a RPG-7 rocket will be destroyed if entered a zone around the T-90 basically the turret is capable to hit a flying rocket or the machinegun at the top is capable to take out RPG rockets while the Abrams has nothing like this. This sytem was actually developed for the T-72 but never mass produced

Did you know that the 20 year old RPG-29 made in Soviet Union in 1989 is actually capable to penetrate many modern days tank front armor? It is also capable to take out the M1 Abrams which have been proved. Many of those M1 Abrams you idiots have lost in Middle East have actually been killed by the RPG-29

yeah the RPG-29 is capable of destroying MOST modern tanks but not all you idiot
and the only report i seen of a RPG-29 against a abram says that it only damaged the tank but not destroyed and the FGM-148 javelin is capable of destroying anything from tanks to bunkers even helicopters since it has lock-on feature
