  • are they wearing suction-cup-shoe technology?

  • Sorry I was a bit angry when I wrote my last comment not like me. Constructive critcism: On the start many of the athletes are understriding. Staying low is useless if your front foot strikes the ground in front of your knee. Second, on the stand up phase many of the athletes are overstriding their frequency is very weak and the BIGGEST bad habit of sprinters is overstriding. Think about your arms not your legs when runing, once you think about your legs you start kicking and you get burned.

  • @Mattu190 Well probably you are right. One of the sprinters are/were a little better than the others, especially in the start. Two of them were qualified and competed in the European championship 60m that year (Birmingham -08), and one of them Q for the semi, and his starts are far better than the rest of the group. After Norwegian national and european standard he is a good starter, but his transition phase and top speed was not good enough, when he competed international.

  • This is not very impressive sorry. Only one guy has the right idea on the drive phase, but his standing top speed turnover is slow the rest are stutter steping the start.

  • they have really short legs and not very high knee lift

  • slowww

  • Sounds like these nerds are running with clogs or flip flops or something??

  • wtf are they using spikes on a wooden floor?

  • personally, i think it'd be best if u told them to lift their knees up a little higher when sprinting.. proper form and technique most certainly increases speed: doing A-skips repeatedly would probably help.

  • why the fuck are they wearing Flip Flops?

  • They look slow and that sound is REALLY pissing me off.

  • . . .they are running in clogs!!

  • They should be flying 30's, what is the purpose of this?

  • They Look Pretty slow to me....

  • Omg they are so slow

  • @FreePcGamesCentral SLOW!!?? SLOW? Do you know anything about track? All of these guys who just ran there have run a sub 6.80 on the 60 meter. Not the fastest in the world but still super fast for the average human.

  • do regular spikes penetrate the gym floor? and why use them on that surface?

  • why does it sound like they are running on a floor that someone spilled juice on? sounds sticky....lol

  • Training makes me hungry :) brb :D

  • how old are these guys?

  • Your guys are gooing fasst, but is it just me or do they look tense ? if not , my baad. But iff youu are loosen up a little [=

  • nicee videoo!! :) seems liek your going slow,. but really,... your flying lol

  • noise

  • I hate this distance!

  • the problem with these guys is that they are doing what some people call a "sitted" run where they arent really using their hips. the hips are important for driving them forward. thats just imo as an experienced runner. they do have a good frequency there though

  • Tac, tac, tac, tac....!

  • Most of the runners need to work on their upper body, seems as if the power from the legs get wasted an upper body that cant keep up

  • Thanks for interesting comment. I think you are right for at least some of the runners. In parts of Norway this group has been criticized for too much strenght training, espescially squat training. From my point of view I think the quickest of this boys were quit strong in benchpress, high pulley and abs. But if you look at a more international level, I think many of the quicker boys are even stronger, as you suggest.

  • I see, their upper bodies seems weak considering they are sprint training, but this could be due to genetic limitations and or poor diet.

Along with abs, chest and back, arms are actually very important for upper body as stronger and heavier arms create more of a push to leap you forward, it's hard to explain but I think you get what I mean

  • This is a cool video!

What times are the males hitting for 30m?

All the best with your training!

  • At the time the video was made 3 of the bays ran 6,74. 6,80 and 6,83 at the 60m. All of them were better in the start than in the finnish. I can`t remember the times at the 30m right now, but I can check it out. We have times with contact-mat start and times with reaction on sound, and there was also some progress at some of the athletes.

  • Is this like some new CRUNCH fitness workout, "Tap Sprinting"

  • clickity clack clickity clack

  • what the fuck they wearing CLOGGS? that sound would drive me nutz for fucks sake

  • what ever they are running with on that hard surface i bet it would give me mad shin splints

  • Its almost as running outdoor, the spikes penetrate the surface a little, so it is not hard. Thought is is a little slower than a mundo/tartan. Some sprinters can have shin troubles, but not worse than outdoors, as i have notices.

  • Where do they get there spikes?

  • nah that cant be spikes, you'd just fall

  • maybe spiky shoes without spikes?

  • still wouldnt work

  • maybe spikes without shoes?

  • Sorry for late reply. It is spikes. Almost as running outdoor, but the floor is a little slower, doesn`t give you the same reachtion force as mundo/tartan.

  • cool I wish I had that in my town... we have a new 1 000 000€ track but in winter we train indoor on a wooded floor on a basketball court...

  • It is spikes. Almost as running outdoor, but the floor is a little slower, doesn`t give you the same reachtion force as mundo/tartan.

  • it sounds like they are destroying their spikes

  • The spikes penetrate the surface a little, but doesn`t slow you or harm the floor (pulastic).

  • sprinting is so much fun and good feeling

  • Nice video!

  • it sounds like whne u run with spikes on cement tht clickty noise

  • Its not hard. It is Pulastic Sportsfloor. A multisport floor for indoor only. The spikes penetrate the surface, but doesn`t harm the floor or slow you down.

  • wth are they runnin on?

  • Sorry for late reply. We are running on Pulastic sportsfloor, it is a multisports floor, for both running, handball, basket, etc.
