Some Spiderman stories have him telling Mary Jane about his powers in high school, others don't introduce Mary Jane till Parker is in his mid 20's. It was the writer’s choice to have them as brothers, but if you notice there are hints that they might not be brothers. Such as Wolverine looking more like his "step father" and the fact that Wolverine will not kill an innocent. The movie has lots of great little side plots like that.

i was a massive wolverine/ xmen comic book fan in the 90's and didnt think the movie was that bad. This move was really good. The story was intense and made you pay attention. The build up romance with his girl was perfect. I think the main reason people did not like the film is it delivered exactly what it promised. The story of how (the movie version) Wolverine became; and what in his sub-conscience drives him to fight.

I saw the movie the other day, and I 'm beginning to think that the people who are criticizing this movie, are the types of people who actually can't recognize a good thing when it's staring them right in the face. The person who simply thinks they look smarter when they point out flaws, be them relevant or otherwise. I strongly recommend going to see this one at a theatre that has a nice modern sound system. Best comic movie to date; even moreso than my beloved '89 Batman.

These fan reviewers suck they go way to easy, I'm 11 and i make realistic reveiws that movie was garbage mostly because:
1.) The story was messed up, and they didnt get some of the characters right i.e. Gambit.
2.) The action was terrible. Half the time you couldnt even see what was going on because they moved too fast.

I loved this movie and my favorite charater was zero. I loved the opening credits were wolverine and sabertooth were fighting in the civil war and ww1 and WW11.

Its not about the critics its about the fans, with a 7.3(last time I checked ) on imdb for users rating means its a pretty bad ass epic movie. Which it was indeed.

well i thout this movie wuz decent not the best movie of this yr but it wuz up there
theres nuthin real great about it & all but it still wuz a good movie
a few things i didnt like about it:
1. his bone claws @ the beginnin were gay
2. deadpool wuz def the sweetest character in the whole movie but he had a total of like 10-15 mins
3. they r makin a deadpool spin off but if uve seen the movie they sorta ruined that 4 u
4. they gave deadpool alot of dumb shit
overall 4/5 #1 of xmen movies

GOD THIS MOVIE SUCKED!!! How the fuck could you silence DEADPOOL WHY!?!?!?!?!? He's the MERC WITH A MOUTH!!! And no deadpool does NOT have cyclops's abillities or sword claws. Just Google deadpool from the comics and you'll see what I'm talking about. not to mention the fact that the story was all wrong.

Felt it needed to be grittier and a little bit nastier. Sabertooth was done well but maybe should of had him evolve to a longer haired version towards the end of the movie. Also they seem to miss that Wolvie has picked up some of the best hand to hand fighting ability's in all of Marvel.

I completely agree, like in the comics theres alot of gore. Like hes a guy with hugh fucking claws jutting out of his hands so in my mind wolverine is an r rated character, like whats the point in having claws if he's not gonna chop people up. And in the comic he's not timid like the way hollywood has portrayed him.

3 Reasons why this movie was a BIG disappointment
-the screenplay was shabby, and wasn't smoothe
-the action wasn't as realistic, one could tell it was on a set.
-All the special effects and graphics drowned the movie.
...but not for nothing Hugh Jackman is the best wolverine, no one can play the character better.

They should have got Michael Bay who directed Transformers OR Christian Nolan who directed Batman Begins and The Dark Knight,...eiher one would have been far better than the director of X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

4. (most of all) Awesome Plot Line
Xmen Origins wolverine has all of this in my opinion, and that's why it's my 2nd favorite film to date. (sweeney todd is my 1st)

I saw the movie the other day, and I 'm beginning to think that the people who are criticizing this movie, are the types of people who actually can't recognize a good thing when it's staring them right in the face. The person who simply thinks they look smarter when they point out flaws, be them relevant or otherwise. I strongly recommend going to see this one at a theatre that has a nice modern sound system. Best comic movie to date; even moreso than my beloved '89 Batman.

This movie was a C, C- if you count the amount of money they simply THREW at it.
a) the CG sucked
b) many parts were undeveloped - like his relationship to his father, like the Weapon X team, like Deadpool (who was totally changed)
c) the plot was stupid
d) they didn't set the period right, give me a break: LCD and gene manip in 1970s? PLZ
e) The ending was boring
f) you're right about Last Stand, but still doesn't make up.
Fox screwed it up. DC comics rules again, Watchmen was better. Sad.

Ever read the comic? Why did I even ask? If you had, you'd know that Sabretooth IS Wolverine's brother. Read ORIGINS, it was out in 2003.
But, yeah... this movie sucked. It was a bigger crime of what they did to Deadpool.

Only in the Origins comics... convenient but reality is they were not brothers before that comic. Hey i don't complain as much about that, but if they were going to use that story, they should have developed it better.
At least the opening sequence rocked, it was all down hill from there.
