i have an original deer antler (i assumed used to make arrow heads, its smooth from use, and it was a shed antler from a young spike buck) and arrow heads my grandfather found while plowing fields. Any idea how old these arrow heads are??

i bought an obsidian arrowhead from amazon, and i cut my self with it, its really sharp if you put a tiny bit of pressure when trying to cut! obsidian is one of my most favorite natural materials =)

obsidian is volcanic glass, in Oregon we can find it in the mountains, other areas of the country you can use flint or chert, also the bottoms of glass bottles work well for learning if you can't find the above, not sure what an ichi stick is, I assume you mean a deer antler pressure flaking tool?

@LivingHistorySchool an ishi stick is a long handled pressure flaking tool the handle goes under your arm for leverage. Do you know who Ishi was? He was the last "wild" Indian. came out of the mountains around 1910. When he was a boy he was separated from his tribe before they wer massacred, and he hid in the mountains till he was in his mid twenties.
