Yes, it is an homemade whip but now I use a new model with minus loss on the coil. You can see how it works in other my videos.

Hi SQ2III, for test I've used a 140 CM telescopic antenna with coil on the base. The transceiver is not homemade but a little QRP rtx by Mizuho, model is MX-7S. It runs 2 Watts SSB/CW on 40 meter band. 73 de Enrico, IW3FZQ.
