I have lag spike u have to turn off clouds , all sound , and make the renderence thing tiny . that is how i play and i get almost no lag only once in a while

Hey Pure! ROFL, at the last 5 episodes. What is it with you and creepers? They just really seem to like you, dude. Thanks for the laughs.

I still get lag spikes too, but not as badly since I switched of the graphics from fancy to fast. (I know, sucks, I really prefer the fancy graphics.) Also, turned off clouds and smooth lighting. Put performance to power saver and sometimes I even turn off view bobbing. Hope that helps.

Try to delete one of the saves you don't play on. I created a new world that couldn't stop lagging, so I deleted all saves I didn't use. It worked. Like so he can see

the fact that the system run fine for at least a small amount of time means it doesn't have anything to do with rendering settings. however, it probably does have something to do with fraps' heavy hard drive utilization, which minecraft is also a hog of. if you have a spare hard drive around, saving video to a different drive than your OS/Minecraft will likely solve or alleviate your problem

ya best thing I can come up with which is what i have to do, is just make sure you don't have any other big programs running. (yes I know you use fraps and you have to use that in order to record)

I bet somewhere, if you follow the creepers (wich is really stupid) there will be a creeper spawner. That happened to me with zombies. In a group, they are deadly. :(

when you place a torch underwater it makes a small air pocket that you can get your breath from for that split second the torch is there for
