Glad you like the Orcas. As far as the Mammoths go; we thought that what made them unique was their firepower and size, hence "Mammoth". Taking AA abilities away from them was far from stupid however. If you have a unit that can counter anything then the gameplay instantly becomes 1 dimensional. No need for AA units in support, and that means less tactical thinking, which means no rock, paper, scissors.
@ultimatepokemonriolu he's right about the mammoth tank thing, it get bait tedious every time you play a GDI team and you know in the end it's just going to be another mammoth tank push which your aircraft cannot fight against when their are that many rockets, also I'd like something that helps reduce the spam attackers because 50 Tripods or 48 assault carriers CANNOT be halted by anything, I've managed to hold out against em for a while but it's impossible in the long run. ideas?
@johnbooth1499 well all I think about is millions of pitbulls attack bikes ect but I like the idea of building thousands of firehawks with AA as their main gun for the assault carriers but tripods I would try juggernauts with mammoth tanks combination or use a bombing combination by throwing your firehawks at them then finish it by juggernauts, mammoth tanks and orca's or wait till you firehawks reload
i like the idea of this mod, too much have people just done mass tech build on CnC3 tib wars and then rolled over you with tier 3 tanks and craft. i like also that defenses are more powerful but need upgrading to detect stealth so nod stealth units can actually do their thing!
@Spectreitup I don't think that developers go out of their way to stop people modding their games, history has shown that a healthy modding community can prolong the life of a game or even take it to a new level, and developers are aware of this. It's usually more a case of the dev team not getting the green light to provide an SDK because of time and budget restrictions, and because there's a rush to move on to the next project.

hey, i have a suggestion, can you make pitbull fire all missile(4 missiles), because in the game i see that unit has 2 missile pod, but it just fire 1, so can you make it fire double :D
@locthiennguyen There are plenty of mods that just throw lots of new units into the game, but we felt that a lot of the units that were in the game already weren't being used because of game imbalance. So we addressed that and now you have to play with more units in the game. We felt that was like getting new units. Also, we don't add units just for the sake of it, only if there's a need for a specific type of unit. Otherwise you just have too many units that all do similar things.
Make sure nod and scrin can have a structure allowing them to call in units instantly for a higher price than it would be for the actual units, GDI do it, why not all of them?
I know scrin and nod have 1 form of it each, but its not instant, and GDI's isnt instant too
Id prefer not calling in units that get shot down when people are attacking your base, I need to escape without losing what I just bought
Sorry for the late reply. Glad you like the mod. The new models appear invisible if your graphics are set low. If you can, increase your graphics settings to high.
This Mod is one of the most game changing Cnc3 Mods I have ever played. I was forced to vary my tactics, forced to think a lot more and all of those cheap rush tactics were no longer an option. Although this mod was not intended for campaign mode, I have been plating through and it has a huge impact. I can't stress enough just how great this mod is! I love the quicker Veteran levels too.
@NexusARC Take a look at the shortcut to any of your existing mods as well as the layout of the directory. Then create a new directory, give it a name and create a similar shortcut but for the different Mod you want to use that has no installer.

Glad you like the mod. Countering air units shouldn't be too bad with the added range and damage given to the AA defenses. Also the pitbulls and raider buggies have upgrades that really help. And then there's always the air vs. air option with a good number of venoms, firehawks or PAC's & Stromriders. Scrin are strong in the air though, you're right, but we wanted them to be because they have been balanced in other ways on the ground.
I don't think this has anything to do with the mod as the mod doesn't change anything that relates to how the game sees the disc. Can you see the regular game when you start it normally? Are you using the desktop icon to start the mod? Are you running any virtual drives / media emulation software like DaemonTools? If so you should try disabling it and then starting the game.
Why taking out the Mammoth Tank's Anti Aircraft capabillities? By the way, the mod is very awesome, Nod behaves like Nod, GDI behaves like GDI. Does the mod works on Kanes Wrath?
When tanks such as mammoths, seekers and stealth tanks could target air units it made unit's like pitbulls have no purose in the game. So we wanted to not have a unit that could counter everything which means that when you play you need to build units for specific purposes.
The mod doesn't work with Kane's Wrath because EA never released the tools to allow for the expansion to be modded.
In the original game the special powers weren't worth using. If they were even available to you when you needed them, they then didn't deliver any kind of effective damage to an enemy structure - an orca strike for example would barely damage a power structure and you had to pay for this non-effective ability each time.
It's a shame you won't try the mod just because you presume this is not a good change. There are hundreds of changes made to the game but each to his own!

In the standard game it was almost pointless garrisoning a building as the building would just collapse after a little fire. It's really just a case of adjusting now or using garrison clearing units to clear them very quickly.
For walls. Build the command post (or equivalent) then crane and you'll see walls on second defense tab. Just build then click and drag where you want it. The walls are supposed to be available earlier in the game, and that will be corrected in 1.3.
can the mod be downloaded for xbox? is their a emulator or something or is it pc only?

its a bit different than the normal game
i dont like the fact that destroying barricaded houses is ALOT harder but its pretty cool
oh, and i also dont know what some new vehciles and buildings do, but i think ill figure it out:D
