why did he absorb ur damage? because ur atk speed is too low. Ur ulti creates images of urself and atks, if your atk speed is not fast enough, ur images will only do a blink animation that does a fixed amount of bonus damage, where ur hero actually doesn't slash down. So u end up doing very low damage, dispite ur damage items
That makes no sense. What you're saying is that the item's critical damage is done, which is better than juggernaut's blade dance ability's crit. The buriza item is not a bad item for Jug.
What makes no sense? When Blade Dance(Jug's crit) and the critical from buriza occurs on the same hit, the higher damage will be the damage that the enemy is taking. Thus, the lower critical is "Wasted" in a sense.
It is just like Ursa with his orb "fury swipes", if ursa gets desolator, his attacks will only negate the opponent's armour but the fury swipes wont take place.

You just compared crit, which is stackable, with orbs effects that do not stack whatsoever. Buriza increases the chance to get a crit, so buriza in combination with blade dance is almost 50% crit chance. so I shall repeat what I said before, buriza is not a bad item on Juggernaut.

An example of this would be if a Mortred was, say, level 20 with all of hero spells learnt already and she bought a Buriza and got a Buriza crit and a Coup de Graçe crit at the same time, the damage from the Buriza crit would be applied, not the damage from the Coup de Graçe crit. This is because the Buriza was the most recently obtained.

It was enjoyable overall, but i had some disagreements with ur opinions. First of all, shivas with batrider wasnt bad at all, as sheepstick on es won't prevent pitlord's or windrunner's disable. They also had lion and DS so guinsoo wasn't really that needed. The jugg isn't really a ult-dependent hero and what i'm seeing in this game is a totally-ult dependent carry jugg. U cld've got bkb after battlefury so that ur cld even get hits with ur normal attacks.
Klazart,enjoyed the commentary of the pub and i watched it throughly.I think you need improving,but then again,we all need to improve.One thing i wouldve done differently (alot of stuff but an important kill chance) is at 43:00,when mirana ult's,i would've tried to predict where she wouldve ran to and get that omnislash you were saving because she was near creeps.Anyways,nice vid.

Nah, this is coming from a DotA and Starcraft veteran.. dota learning curve isn't that hard to overcome compared to starcraft.
in dota, just practice last hitting and denies. Watching some pro dota games will help you also just like watching starcraft replays.
Just keep playing violetak and hit the forms. On the forms you can ask questions and such.. don't worry about getting flamed there are alot of people willing to help instead of hate.

Guinsoo wouldnt have been that much effiecient to farm. Shiva is good as a core item on Batrider since he's basically their initiator because Tidehunter ragequit; so he needs Shivas for a bit more survivability.
It synergizes very well with his skills, giving a burst AOE slow as well as that %AS reduction.

oh please. DotA is fun. battlenet warcraft 3 (pro players are... well... pro) is starcraft with easymode macro and slowed down gameplay to make micro easier. I have more APM controlling 1 unit in DotA than I do 15 in war3.
Dota's a game by its own. you cant exactly compare it to Starcraft/wc3. I must admit, starcrafts' really a difficult game to play, even at lower levels whereas dota is more noob friendly game. but at the upper levels... pro dota teams train just as hard as the starcraft teams in terms of hours and the difference in skills are very obvious. Well, I had a similar opinion for the longest time, because it's actually true lol :P.DoTA is waaaaaay easier to play than regular RTS.And that's why people play it (including me).
That's also why poker became so popular and chess isn't as popular.
But at the same time I DO acknowledge that W3 itself or SC is more skill requiring, it's just that they require more time to become good at and you can play DoTA once a week and if you have some common sense and basic knowledge you can be good.

he made a point to tell you that the level of play was low. this was meant as a tutorial video or preview for people who have never played the game. and he did an amazing job.
wrong. animation shows that they do but they dont. the last acquired crit is the one that you get. and yes even moving an item around in inventory makes it the last one acquired.
Alright, now you listen here, mister. They do stack but they act as seperate critical strikes that can crit at the same time or at seperate times. They don't increase each other's chances or multipliers, but they stack otherwise.
you should skill attribute bonus on levels 2 and 4 because critical strike is almost useless early game. stats give you a little bit of hp and mana. also having 2 crits (skill and buriza) isnt very efficient because only one of them can happen. If they both succeed then only the one with higher %-chance is applied I believe.
butterfly on the other hand is very good for jugg. if you have high enough attackspeed you get additional slashes during your ultimate.
Klaz I watch all ur dota commentaries so i was surprised to see you playing DotA.

Guinsoo wouldnt have been that much effiecient to farm. Shiva is good as a core item on Batrider since he's basically their initiator because Tidehunter ragequit; so he needs Shivas for a bit more survivability.
It synergizes very well with his skills, giving a burst AOE slow as well as that %AS reduction.

well, this is clearly a nooby game. but no offense to u, everyone start with being a beginner. But next time u play, in option, set health bar always on, it will be easier for last hit.

oh please. DotA is fun. battlenet warcraft 3 (pro players are... well... pro) is starcraft with easymode macro and slowed down gameplay to make micro easier. I have more APM controlling 1 unit in DotA than I do 15 in war3.

Dota's a game by its own. you cant exactly compare it to Starcraft/wc3. I must admit, starcrafts' really a difficult game to play, even at lower levels whereas dota is more noob friendly game. but at the upper levels... pro dota teams train just as hard as the starcraft teams in terms of hours and the difference in skills are very obvious. Would love to try commentating a dota game! Anyone knows where to get the software to do this?

Well, I had a similar opinion for the longest time, because it's actually true lol :P.DoTA is waaaaaay easier to play than regular RTS.And that's why people play it (including me).
That's also why poker became so popular and chess isn't as popular.
But at the same time I DO acknowledge that W3 itself or SC is more skill requiring, it's just that they require more time to become good at and you can play DoTA once a week and if you have some common sense and basic knowledge you can be good.

wrong. animation shows that they do but they dont. the last acquired crit is the one that you get. and yes even moving an item around in inventory makes it the last one acquired.

Alright, now you listen here, mister. They do stack but they act as seperate critical strikes that can crit at the same time or at seperate times. They don't increase each other's chances or multipliers, but they stack otherwise.

you should skill attribute bonus on levels 2 and 4 because critical strike is almost useless early game. stats give you a little bit of hp and mana. also having 2 crits (skill and buriza) isnt very efficient because only one of them can happen. If they both succeed then only the one with higher %-chance is applied I believe.
butterfly on the other hand is very good for jugg. if you have high enough attackspeed you get additional slashes during your ultimate.

Klaz I watch all ur dota commentaries so i was surprised to see you playing DotA.
Great commentary for Newbies to DotA.
did u know if u click-hold on ur characters portrait the camera is always centered on him? Its smoother than trying to mouse drag while watching replays, just so you know.
Again great vid, interesting choice in getting buriza, not sure if the double crit works or not but it seemed to do well for you. Hope you post some more SC replays soon (and maybe a few DotAs as well XD)
