Larry....This is one of those songs that you can't help but want to hear....I kind of have always sung along to the chorus whenever i heard it....But since the first time i heard this one of your's, and every time i come back to it, i have to sing along to the entire song and tap my fingers to the beat...It is a good country song and, just as you do with any song you cover, you once again make me and many others happy that we are here.....ione marie

I've never heard the Brooks and Dunn cover, but your cover is amazingly true to BW's original.

BW also did the best job on "Shambala", which later became a hit for Three Dog Night.

Larry....When it comes to country music, you pick the best songs. i really enjoy hearing what range you have with that voice..the way you sing maria is superb...embarrased to say that i always thought this was originally done by Brooks and Dunn.....thank you for the knowledge...But, honestly, what i admire most about this cover, like your cover of Rainy Jane, is that it shows in your face and is heard in your voice how damn much YOU love performing...Excellent...ione marie
