Out of sight tone and quality! This is one that can easily fit into your floor rack with a ton of plexi quality! I have one of his original boost pedals with the true bypass. He is a master of pedals for sure.

I agree! not only the clipping, but the attack too. not tube-smooth at all. Sounds good though.. guess the clip and attck- thing goes for many od/dist pedals out there.. I would go for something with a tube inside it. got a Tonebone Classic myself, and its a really good dist pedal. Or a boost to get the amp to scream more.

I just don't see a huge difference in sound from pedals anymore. One is a little brighter or darker or grittier but you can pretty much get the same sounds out of all of them by fiddling with the dials and your guitar controls.

yeah ofcours but he states what he's using which is a fender reverd I think and playing through a les paul and strat, plus it's miced up and recording with very good equipment just go to your local music store and try it out best way to do it

I'm a little disappointed in mine:

- No crunch to it at all - just saturation and fuzz.

- Noisy as all hell. My rig is dead quiet except for this thing.

- Play low strings on the neck pickup and it completely farts out - like my guitar's tone is on 0.

- Intensity does next to nothing btw 0 and 2 o'clock.

- It does clean up well and gives a nice EQ boost

I may drop a note to them to see if they want to take a look at it - it sounds off from the demo's and really isn't a useable device.

buying a real marshall plexi could be less expensive than a deluxe reverb with that pedal. And basicly marshall plexi is just a modded fender, its a good choice only if you want the clean sound of fender and a footswitchable distortion that sound more like marshall plexi.

it will not sound exactly the same because he played on a fender deluxe reverb with a lespaul , your marshall cant get exactly that clean fender sound.
