Nuclear power produces far less carbon emissions than coal, oil, and even natural gas. Not bad for such an evil technology.

But they didnt want to launch a full scale operation into pakistan without the governments support if they didnt know for sure that he was there. Thats why he didnt do it. He showed restraint. The safety record of nuclear power is outstanding. Radiation from nuclear plants has not caused a single known death worldwide, except at the Chernobyl plant in the Ukraine. The known death toll from the Chernobyl accident is less than 50.
Chernobyl-type plants can not be built or operated in the United States.

No cancer or deaths have ever been proven to be related to the disaster at TMI. Cancer rates in the area do not vary in any statistically significant way from national averages. The Chernobyl disaster happened in a nuclear facility with outdated technology that was only used in the Soviet Union. The technology has improved enormously and now we can make nuclear fuels in such a way that they cannot be used to produce weapons.

Nuclear power creates radioactive waste, but so do oil and coal, in fact, coal spews 100 times as much radioactive waste into the atmosphere (not into underground facilities, just directly into the environment) as nuclear. New technologies for reusing spent fuel and reducing radioactive waste from nuclear as much as 99% are currently being researched and seem promising. Nuclear power produces far less carbon emissions than coal, oil, and even natural gas. Not bad for such an evil technology.

I am sorry but you do realize that there is no radioactive waste in coal or oil. What burning coal does is create toxic gases not radioactive ones. Also dumping nuclear waste under ground disturbs the water table. You know where we get 15% of our water. So that would be a BIG NO NO. What we should be using is solar power not nuclear power.

Lie #2 He portrays that after a shooting, the NRA schedueled an event in the state where the victim was killed, as some sort of a "screw you, guns rule" manner. Which is also false. The meeting was scheduled in advance and it would have been ILLEGAL and IMPOSSIBLE for them to cancel it. Moore also again edits speeches to take what heston was saying out of context.
