lol this recording really sucks compared to the cover on Ultra Beatdown. To clear up any confusion, this was Sam Totman's band before dragonforce. It's from their four song demo power of the ninja sword. It was recorded in a home studio in Sam's house. When Dragonforce covered this song for UB, they renamed it strike of the ninja. Herman Li was NOT in Shadow Warriors. In fact, Sam recorded all of the instrumentation himself, cept for the drums, which he used a drum machine. ZP did the singing.

I believe Herman Li has no part in Shadow Warriors. (I could be wrong) The song was redone and played by DragonForce (After being ZP and Sam's Shadow Warrior song.) And I love DragonForce but this version just doesn't sound good to me. "Strike of the Ninja" is excellent, the problem being with this one is the lack of sound behind the vocals. Again, I could very well be missinformed about what I post, and please correct me if I'm wrong. DragonForce for life.

Yes some (most) off of Inhuman Rampage and Sonic Firestorm all sound the same to each other (keep in mind all bands songs generally sound the same, but I'll admit more so with DragonForce than most bands).

Valley of the Damned and Ultra Beatdown though, are indeed all very different songs, comparing to one another. Every Ultra Beatdown song is unique to the rest, same with Valley of the Damned. More so Valley of the Damned though.

Definitely agree. I though Sonic Firestorm was pretty original though, it's just...Inhuman Rampage kinda pushed it. Don't get me wrong, on it's own it sounds great, and that is the album that got me into Dragonforce, but compared to their past work, it's kinda a let down. Ultra Beatdown was amazing though, and (surprisingly?) critics seem to share my opinions on it.

I loved it 'cause this time, each song had it's own character to it, and tracks 3 and 5 had different beats, for once :p
