True enough for this mouse. It's a really comfortable and good looking mouse. It fits perfectly in my hand and has a very nice size. But I have clicked two of them to death in a year. I literally wear one of these out in less than six months.

@iplayl4d2XD every single laser mouse on this planet ahs the z axis isssue if you set the dpi too high. Period.

xai has it, g500 has it, imperator has. Solution? Only one, keep the dpi under 3200 and it will reduce the z axis problem. DPI only increases the cursor speed anyway, it doesn't makes you more accurate, no matter who says what higher dpi does NOT mean higher accuracy.

This was my 1st razer mouse. And my last one as am VERY VERY disappointed by razer. Every few minutes the mouse just stops working, and i have to unplug-replug. And not only that, when am playing fps games and without any notice when i turn either way its like my dpi increases for a second and the pointer in screen turns like crazy for that second and i lose my target, basically everything messes up when it happens.

Never going on razer again. One time was enough

This mouse is terrible. No precision what-so-ever and each time you lift the mouse, the cursor moves down a little, which is terrible for people like me who lift the mouse very often. The bottom of the mouse scratches very easily (Though that might be my mouse pads fault). Felt great in the store, but once i got it home, i instantly felt regret.

Razer...Ooo - nice presentation box...Stuff the box...it only goes in the bin...down to brass tacks... the Imperator is overpriced, shuts off itself (sometimes) and even more annoying, it keeps moving slowly towards the top left side of the screen.  The End !

O and should it switch itself off... disconnect your shiny gold usb and replug it... should be fine.

Don't buy this mouse, it randomly locks up and you have to unplug it and plug it back in. Using the latest firmware 1.16 at this time. In addition whenever you pick up the mouse the cursor jumps down and to the right a bit... This supposedly isn't an issue with the other Razer mice but this one... Sucks the dong.

Just got one of these today with a Razer Goliathus mousepad, thing is damn jumpy like when I have music going the pointer jumps around a bit from the vibrations, it's damn sensitive. Lowering the dpi while web browsing and such helps a lot. It does feel pretty sexy.

@estiloSerbiano well its depends if both have same FPS or SPS(Samples per Seconds) is just same then but if a laser mouse have more FPS its means you can move your move you mouse futher without losing track from the mouse or the mousepad i think not 100% sure . SPS use only in SteelSeries Ikari Laser mouse , any other mouse use FPS i think.
