heavily underrated song. it may not be the biggest hit, but i think it's the most powerful song jon ever wrote. and that's saying something. i don't listen to it much, but when i feel like the world won't give me a break i turn this song on and it keeps me grounded.

His voice stays in you and you can pick his voice out of a blur of music so easily. It seems so strong to me. It has a meaning almost.

Almost every single song they write has a deep meaning. Search for it. You'll be glad you did.

when i researched switchfoot for a school project, i found that since their songs mention God through analogies and sometimes directly. their songs can be a witness for Christ since they're a "secular" bad. i see God in their songs "twenty-four" and "gone" and sososo many others.
