You get right to the point! I might add that any useful or promising technology has been removed by Oil Corps, black shelved, bought out, you name it! Just curiosity, they've patented in 2008 a new Li battery 10 times efficient, capable of running our notebooks for an entire day! Where's the company responsible for this battery??

Biomass should not be on that list, it causes more problems than it solves
PS How about more 'human dynamo' developments?

Just did some digging...
Chevron-Texaco bought up the NiMH battery patents for the EV1; ensuring no one else could use them make an electric vehicle.
Even the EV1 with NiMH batteries had a 160mi (260km) range.
Li Poly batteries have triple to quadruple the power for the same volume OR over six times the power for the same weight.
If NiMH batteries weren't a threat... why did Chevron buy them?
Smells like a rotten bait-&-switch to me.

9:30 Volume to range scale is misleading and he is lying.
The Tesla S has a 300mi (480k) range!
It is NOT a "vehicle for taking the battery"... It seats 5 adults & 2 kids.
Even normal Tesla sports-car gets 244mi (392km) range. Not a giant battery on wheels either.
The shameless plug for Chevron, cheer-leading for 'fuels' and flippant ignorance of actual Electric Cars on the road make them look ridiculous.
