Budapest was the gretatest target, when we were there. We saw the Castle, the Heroes square and we enjoy the Budapest bath's. We've been to 10 baths in 7 days. I was there last summer in Hungary Budapest.I stayyed there for 4 weeks and my parents forced me to walk all around the city my knees were killing me =o.
Oh poor you...but it does sound funny indeed that you had to walk around the city.I can not walk for more than 1-2 hours a day,my waist would certainly kill me!Whereas when we hit abroad(often), we always do the same thing as your parents forced you to do.:-)))) Sometimes doing that is extremely gruelling!

I'm glad I live in this city. It really is beautiful and yes, it has nothing to do with the Romans (although we've spread over that area as well).
In my humble opinion, the best are the bridges. I mean, standing in the middle the view is just awesome... and also, not every city has an island in the middle, let alone two!

OK,Paris is close to its beauty,but BP still outdoes Paris and all the other places!!!Edinburgh is one hell of a place,too,but still I choose BP over the others!

Not true, dear slovak:D! Aquincum was the capital of Pannonia. The ruins of the city can be found today in Óbuda (part of Budapest).
But Pozsony (Bratislava-Slovak Capital) was the Hungarian Kingdom's capital(from 1536 to 1783) and part of Hungary (from 896 to 1920)...
So this is a faint provocatoin:)

Yes Prague is a Jewel!!! Budapest and Prague is not in one category. Budapest destructive many war(ottoman turks, habsburgs, germans, american bombardment in WWII) Budapest's architecture:slim gothic,roman more baroque , but largely classicism, eclecticism, art nouveau and historicism.
Prague's architecture:largely gothic and baroque(Prague inviolate in the history) Budapest "Old city" is bigger whit many faces.

Oh poor you...but it does sound funny indeed that you had to walk around the city.I can not walk for more than 1-2 hours a day,my waist would certainly kill me!Whereas when we hit abroad(often), we always do the same thing as your parents forced you to do.:-)))) Sometimes doing that is extremely gruelling!

Annak is vannak ám történelmi okai, hogy minket mért utálnak a köröttünk élők, csak azokat töri órán annyira nem hangsúlyozzák. A Rubicon legutóbbi számában van a mi vétkünkre is példa -nem is kicsi.
