because we had like 10 performance in one day, so we didnt want to dirty the pants. n plus the boys always change to different lions so if they wore the pants n they were in a different lion! it would look weird

Are you sure this is Yun Yee Tong? I know where this temple is, I pass it all the time, but..looking at the lions I don't think it's yyt, especially that fut-san yin-yang lion, it's THQ's lion. I think yyt has a Hok-San one..
