@samsosasoda I agree, your hands would be behind his neck pulling, not puching down as shown in this vid, and as far as the hanuman, yeah, you could do the same amount of damage with a standard uppercut leaving one hand to defend and having to push your entire body, seeing how the hanuman does, your forward momentum would be greater than t your vertical momentum caused by having to go down and forward then strike upward

I has nothing to do with bones. The knees and elbows are made out of cartilage, making them the weakest points of the skeletal structure. However, the reason Muay Thai is effective is caused by the angle of the bones at striking point.

That being said, Muay Thai IS awesome. =P

yea im in the same situation as u... i find it hard to rotate my body for the hook punch and btw if u do muay thai kicks which is wat i prefer more... your prolly gonna feel weird doing tkd after it just aint the same thing... tkd is still good tho cuz the back kicks are just something thats just not so very easily expected... i think 1 brawler martial art plus 1 wrestler type martial is prolly the best combo to go tho... rather than 2 brawler martial arts like tkd and kickboxing

i still cannot get everything right, linking moves, linking body movements etc etc

all the internet does is teach you a kick, punch etc and how to do it. It does not tell you how it works, when to do it, all of the variations to do it, why to do it, linking it. So it is basically pointless
