All final weapons in the first cd of FF8

Quick Fact: The name of Zell's Final Weapon is also the name of a video game for the PlayStation in which you can play as certain Final Fantasy characters. (Cloud, Tifa, Sephiroth, Vincent, Yuffie, and i believe RedXIII/Nanaki) And there is a character that uses skills similar to Zell :)

the lionheart is the first of the ultimate weapons you can get this way and the earliest in the whole game, (as early as disc 1), without sacrificing important cards (that is if you plan to collect them all) and speaking of cards, you can get a krysta or jumbo cactuar card within the first hour of gameplay =) making it easier to get 3 character cards (Seifer, Quistis and Zell) before leaving for timber as well as the mini-mog card needed to make the kiros card really early in the game.

it looks you used up the minotaur card to get the adamantines, there's a way to get 1 adamantine without having to waste the card, but you have to be EXTREMELY lucky, you can get either a orihalcon or an adamantine when defeating X-ATM092 in dollet, that's how i got it personally or mugging it from the iron clad in FH on disc 2, that's BEFORE going to the island where the adamantoises are, the dragon fangs from a high level t-rexaur, DO NOT mug him though... i'll continue on another comment...

@tilmitt86 X-ATM092 only drops the Stat+40% items, meaning a Orihalcon, Power Wrist, Hypno Crown or Force Armlet. Adamantine is not on his drop list since it's a Vit+60% item.

for going Cactuar hunting is the one reason Strange Vision is the only weapon recommended in guides other than the Lion Heart (need I saw moar about THAT one?)

u know there's a weapon stronger than the lion heart just have to buy all the weapons in order the first to the last and go to the shop with the ability of tonberry he shows u the last one

Impossible. You need the first weapons monthly which is only available in disk 3 in order to get most of the ultimate weapons.

No. Those just tell you the items you need to get the weapons. You don't actually need any of them to buy new weapons.

All the weapon shops just "know" what is needed to make every weapon, they just don't volunteer that info whenever you talk to them. :)

You don't need the Weapons Monthlys for any weapon, you only need the materials for it... Your just not told what they are

Well, bravo. Last time, I got the final weapons of Squall, Zell and Selphie right after the 2nd Laguna's dream. And before graduation to SeeD, I played a lot with Zell's mother and I got the Crime&Penalty, Maverick and Crescent Wish! Right after Dollet exame is the best point to play cards.

From T-Rexaur if they don't overpass the 29th level. So Squall, Zell, Quistis and Selphie must not be so trained :( T-Rexaur always drops 6 Dragon Fangs, when it happens.

you don't need the las weapon maazine...if you collect all the stuff for the weapons when you go to the armshop automatically final weapons appear in the list
