@kassemir I have a documentary about Eric Clapton I think he's talking to Martin Scorsese. And the last song he sings is this song. It's also better than this one.
@nellgwen48 I think that is the unreleased documentary "Nothing But The Blues", I've seen some of the performances from that and they're just amazing, really Clapton at his A game.
Sadly I only think it's aired on television, and never been released, ergo names the unreleased documentary amongst Clapton fans. As far as I know.
He's wearing a blue very sweaty T-shirt, right? Cause if he's wearing that then it's definitely the "Nothing But The Blues" documentary.
@kassemir For the interview parts he's wearing a heavy beige sweater. It must have been winter time in England. When he's playing he is wearing a blue sweaty T-Shirt. I think it is called Nothing But The Blues. I think I recorded it off of PBS. it should be available to buy. I don't see why not. It's a shame if it's not. I do know Martin Scorsese is involved with it. But on here if you look there is another video of him doing this song. I watched it yesterday. It's that version. He ripped it.
@nellgwen48 Well, I just checked, and it's never had an official release on DVD which is just a shame, cause it is one of Clapton's best performances to date. Maybe some day it will get a proper release, one can hope :-D
I admire Clapton's ability to play soulful electric guitar solos over a tune such as Bessie Smith's "Nobody's Business If I Do", even as the band plays more chords than you'd hear in a typical 12-bar blues. He always sound "on top" of the tune.
