The white stripes are an original band in a time when every emo band is trying to copy the other emo band or in any genre now a days. They have a cool gimic and write cool songs. The nuggets are a band from the 60's who probably 99% of the world has never heard of. And I don't know if you know anything about guitars, but ever style of music ever played is based on old blues riffs. The white stripes have a very distinct guitar sound and usaully really hooky unique riffs.
