Not bad Stryper, but I can go to any club out there and hear this from non Christian cover bands. When I want to rock to Christian words I want them from Stryper, not listen to Stryper for non Christian songs. Doesn't make sense. You can't have it both ways. Either ur a Christian rock band or ur a secular rock band. I'm sure that if Motley Crüe became Christians and wanted to share about Christ, then that's what they would change to be, a Christian rock band making a stand. Maning up for God. T

Actually a decent cover. Blackmore, Gillan and Lord could squash Stryper with their pinkies but Stryper maintain the integrity of the song, especially the organ and guitar solo. Of course, their is only one Ian Gillan for the screams but the vocalist here adds some fresh phrasing.

The verse I posted is eminently relevant because your attitude here in this thread is closer to the legalistic attitude constantly displayed by the Pharisees (and criticised as hypocrisy by Jesus) than anything Jesus said.

this may be the best cover of all time! and could be oz n mikes best guitar playing as well. i was blown away with the entire album. couple were weaker then others but over all its about a 98.6% for me. been a stryper fan since day one.never had to defend them when it came to their playing, i think as i did then stryper are better then 99% of the bands musically. and as far as todays bands their far superior. just my oponoin thou, im old school metal and rock anyway..........GOD BLESS STRYPER
