  • I also served on the Glamorgan ( December 72 - Mar 77) They were fine looking ships. I would love to see a youtube posting of the model underway. It is an excellent model.

  • so cool

  • She looks brilliant. I served on Glamorgan in the Falklands in 1982, where is the model based as I'd love a chance to see it?

  • Simply spectactular! Would love to see it on a night run!

  • possibly the best model i have ever seen!

  • Fantastic detail, I served on HMS Fife from 1972 - 1974 they were beautiful ships, it was during the time she still had twin 4.5 turrets. She was sold to the Chilean Navy and I believe is now scrapped.

  • @crabb50 I was on the Exmouth in Malta in 1970 when the Fife caught fire she needed a mega shipside paint job after that baby had been put out.

  • What do you do when you have to cook dinner?

  • great work!! I once sailed on the glamorgan in 1991, when she was named almirante latorre, serving for the chilean navy. The details are remarkable!
