Im pretty sure thats the legendary Willie Caruthers, played with spacemen 3 and for a bit with some band called spiritualized, he also worked a bit with the great Sonic Boom.

i wouldnt say its a piece of shit but its a drama. Courtney has said on video that he is still friends with Anton. Plus Anton doesn't always behave that way. He's weird but most the time shows go off without a hitch.

fair enough. I see what you are trying to say. As a movie, I think it is great, but as a documentary a complete falsitude. One good thing I will say about the movie is that it introduced me to BJM. I have been listening to the warhols for 10 years but had somehow missed BJM.

Both bands are my favorites. I spoke to The Warhols after a show and they are really nice people. I have never met Anton or the BJM but they are wicked awesome musically.

There was never a real rivalry there - it was sort of a tongue in cheek thing and everyone likes one another - the filmmaker knew this - and built a film out of that false "fact" - there are many, many things in the film that were twisted about - for instance the ending is a total lie - anyone close to the band all know these things but the general public doesn't and bought it all sadly - The Dandies are very nice and so are the BJM. Glad you are enjoying them both now.
