I was playing Skyrim to this tune, when I heard a guard say, "I used to be an adventurer like you.... But then I took an arrow to the knee..." I spun around, yelled, "I'M SO TIRED OF ARROW-TO-THE-KNEE JOKES" And killed her. Then I remembered that she wasn't making a joke....
I'm thirteen, and my father raised me in a life of Blue Oyster Cult, I'm from England, Burnley, Lancashire, England. People don't uderstand me when I'm listening to these songs, I love hip-hop, like Eminem, but I have a soft spot for Blue Oyster Cult, they'll be in my life forever. :)
This and Heaven Forbid are fantastic. Not overproduced like their poppier stuff from the mid - late 70s...they know they are not going to get on the radio and they just made 2 albums that fucking ROCKED.
@TheMiggitymark - I must say I enjoy pretty much all Blue Öyster Cult ever did (more or less obviously) but you are right. This albums is alot stronger than "Mirrors" (even dough I think Mirrors was a quite nice pop/rock album). Shame more people haven't heard this album !
This is why I never cease to love Eric Bloom songs I've always loved his melodies and his vocals. Great hop into 3/4 time :D True craftsman this man is at writing
This album does kickass, shows you that even though BÖC has put out a gillion albums, they still rock, these songs are still awesome and if they were from the 70's I woulda listened to them along with secret treaties, agents of fourtune.

"Excuse me waiter, there's an eye in my hurricane!" Sorry, couldn't resist. *dodges rotten fruit, vegetables*
Great tune. Excellent guitar work, as usual.

is he trying to imitate james hetfield. like.. '98 metallica did a cover of their song, and gave them a huge record sale boost.

If BOC made albums like this back in the 70's and 80's, they'd be a household name to this day.

Very cool Blue Oyster Cult song. it's obvious that the band still has it. This is one of the best songs they have recorded in years.
