Beh mostro è un parolone...guarda nel chorus non si tratta di tapping in quanto con la punta delle dita della mano destra non premo sui tasti ma do solo dei colpi sulle corde ottenendo lo stesso effetto dello slap con il pollice. Ryan usa questa tecnica per ottenere il suono dello slap su due corde contemporaneamente con il salto di corda. Sarebbe impossibile per esempio slappare sulla corda mi e sulla corda re.

A. The slap is performed to acquire a sort of "octave harmonic" overtone as well as the actual root note.

B. The fingerstyle he uses is actually how classically trained bassists play. It's similar to how people are trained to type. Lift the wrist up and hook your fingers. Plus, the technique he uses adds additional attack, perfect for this type of music.

Um, dude...I used to play with my wrist like that, both hands too not just one. If you take the time and patience to fix it, it makes your playing TONS better. It was a night and day difference. It is easier to play parts of chords/octaves/ harmonies. I know because I do it tons in my band. And I'm not saying he's a bad player, just that he should fix something before it becomes a habit (Like it did for me) And you can get enough attack just by playing at certain parts of the bass.
