  • This reminds me of the double dutch teams, just w/ a Step. Love it.

  • woah this is just amazing...such a fresh stream in step workout routines! Please post more!

  • awesome!

  • Sheldon - You are phenomenal!

  • This work me reminds the Irish dances contained in Lord of the dance .... a lot of time ago I tried to do a work based on this type of dance and was not capable .... thank you very much for put in.

  • Do you put Taps on the bottom of your shoes?

  • Great question we tried years ago but I felt it ruined it. The goal was to create something completely different, not just another way of "tap dancing". We experimented with different "sneakers" determined to keep an authentic sound. Right now I wear running shoes if you can believe that both because they are the most comfortable for me and because I like the sound they make (especially Mizunos and Addidas brands)

  • @footworksfitness Is this your invention?

I mean have you showed this to companies like Reebok, Nike and Adidas?

Maybe they can create a brand out of it just like Reebok created Step with Gin Miller.

  • Yes, this is totally Sheldon's invention. We performed Footworks on national television in front of a live audience of 1500 at the Orpheum Theater in LA. We also featured Footworks at several national fitness conventions. This novel step system has been successfully taught in just about every major fitness club in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past 20 years. To date, the companies you mention have not shown an interest but we are open. We really appreciate your feedback - Alexandra

  • WOW!!! I'm speachless, I wish that in Venezuela someone could teach that... is to greate... You are to good.

  • I was talking with another instructor about the concept and she was so excited about it...we only have 16 steps at our gym and if we had a "tandem" style class we could improvise and not have to turn anyone away=) Thanks for your creativity!

  • Wow, that's all I can say. How do you teach that to the general population?

  • Thank you. This video demonstrates performance level Footworks. There are 7 levels starting with the Rudiments. So people can master each level or just insert new FW choreography into their own classes.

  • FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!
