I've seen Jimi, BB King, SRV, Albert Collins, John Lee Hooker, Santana, Savoy Brown, Fleet Wood Mack of the sixties and seventies and many other blues greats...Stevie was the best ever, hands down!!!!!!!!!!!

It's hard to believe Stevie is gone over 20 years. I'm just grateful that we have all this video we can keep looking at over and over, and he kicks ass in every one of them. Stevie is in a class by himself. He's fast, but he's not a shredder. He's blues, but he's rock 'n roll to the core, and no slow hand, that's for sure. He's tops technically and in blasting emotion through the roof. Maybe that's why you don't hear his name mentioned as much as others when people talk top guitar players. But he's certainly at the top and there's no one over him. Stevie Ray Vaughn, live on.
