@RoBbAify That's the Superintendent of the city, "Spoiler alert" The superintendent is being controlled by the Engineer "Vergil" and is trying to help you find your squad mates and get out of the city and that's also why when you find a clue to where your ODST squad was you see a through a camera all the sudden cuz that's wat the superintendent is seeing and then you get to play as that character but in reality The Rookie is being shown wat happened by the Superintendent

i liked this game a lot.. it actually gives you the life and experience of an ODST..

when they give the ODST a sniper hes like how the hell am i supposed to use this thing..gimmie my SMG lol, and when rookie is sleeping they smack him to wake him up..and its time..when i was playing as master chief, u can just run into the army kill all the grunts by punching them, u can kill everything..SPARTAN style..but here u play as a rookie, new to the army and weak, unexperienced..really fun game :D

This game had the best soundtrack in my opinion. There was a lot more emotion and atmosphere you felt for the main character. Espiecally watching this trailer at around 2:18 when it kicks in the music. You hope that this character finds his way out, lost and alone in a dying city. ODST was the most emotional halo game I played!

Halo 3: ODST, my second favorite Halo game. I just wish it was an hour longer and had a matchmaking or server multiplayer.

Halo 3: ODST sucked dick, why didnt they just make it a game add-on, but no i had to pay $10 for the odst campaign, and $50 dollars for the Halo 3 multiplayer with all the maps, which i already fucking had.

I'm not hating on Halo, I love Halo. But I hate how Bungie made a half-assed game without a multiplayer, and firefight which is just a gay version of Gears of War's Horde mode, and still sucessfully got my money.

They aren't gonna take the servers down dumbass. Bungie can't even do that. Microsoft can, but they won't until the next generation of consoles, when they will shut down Xbox Live for the 360 (which they might never do). The only thing Bungie can do is take down Bungie.net support for Halo 3, so you couldn't track your Halo 3 stats, but it unlikely they will do that until years from now. Hell, 343 Industries might track it then, so don't worry about that.

@casagrand11 I'd agree with you on Halo 1 and 3, but I have to say Reach's multiplayer is as good (or nearly as good) as 3's, which was just mint in every way. I have to say though that best OST has to go to ODST. It's ridiculously good not just for a game but just amazing in itself. It doesn't sound like Halo music but it just fits in with the feel of the game which I absolutely love. For feel I'd say that ODST was the best, just because it's so different. Maybe I'm just talking out my ass lol.

I thought I would love this game... I gave it a play and I have to say that it is the WORST Halo game that Microsoft and Bungie have done... I like Halo 1 better than this crap except for the new vehicles like the brute chopper and stuff but other than that the weapons take like at least one clip to kill one brute? I like the concept of the computer watching over the city. Like the way it sees the pod crashing as a vehicle crash, determines the fatality chance, IDs the vehicle, alerts services etc.

I like ODST's campaign even more than Reach's! It gives a batman-like feel to it because of the darkness of Night. Plus ODST are greater than SPARTANS by far! I also prefer the HUD of an ODST. The VISR is way better than Reach's night vision and CE's flashlights. Also, I love how The Superintendent gives you clues like the DETOUR and KEEP RIGHT signs that lead to comm links. I like sadie's story and I'm nearly done collecting the comm links! I've 24/30.

@Myself Now I think SPARTANS are superior. They are stronger and have faster reflexes. They also have better missions and have more MJOLNIR variants. I have also found an elite class of SPARTANS with a similar role to ODST. They are codenamed Headhunters.

On the other hand, I still think the VISR is superior to night vision.

I also loved that the music in ODST was completely different from the other HALO's.

In fall of reach, Master Chief killed four ODSTs (Chief and ODSTS were not wearing armor) when he was 14 and in a field exercise (in 2552) he injured/killed 50 ODSTs, and blew up a gunship by deflecting its own missile at it (with the help of Cortana's calculations).

A marine would take longer to kill, more amo and would be tired quicker.

Bungie even said that they "messed the canon" by making your ODST stronger so Halo 3 ODST wouldn't be too hard............in the books, an ODST can't even hold up a fuel rod gun.
