  • so, jemand bock zu texten

  • that cat aint got no eye

  • Well, you did'n't win......but you should have!

  • Yeeaahh!!!! I'll get to pay for her medication now because of the poor life choices she made. Can't wait!

  • woah, LordRuckus did you just say that you don't want to pay for someone who has parkinsons to get medication. Parkinson's doesn't discriminate based on life choices buddy. It's usually genetic, so get off of your pedestal, mr. I'm the only hardworking american in america and don't give a shit about someone who was afflicted with a disease, also, you won't be paying more taxes anyways, because u don't make over 150G, but what if you could pay a little to help someone with parkinsons, would you?

  • Nobody gave me ANYTHING for my preexisting condition that I can't do anything about. Instead, I made choices so I was able to get my own insurance instead of looking for a hand out. Wait, I'm wrong. My Father did when he made the choice to make sure I had appropriate medical care when I was a child. It would be hard to find a person that would benefit from "free" medical care more than me, but I choose not to be a burden. Options are available today.

  • LordRuckus your preexisting condition is no where near as severe as parkinsons, because for starters, you're still alive, so I understand you feel like "oh, I had a rough time and got through it, so if I can, then everyone else can no matter what disease they have" well until you get through PD or any other disease as severe as this then please don't insult those who have it by saying they can just get through it with the "options that are available today"

  • You would be surprised and I haven't complained once to you.

  • So it comes full circle. Why not just take care of ourselves to begin with then? Understand, I am in favor of restrictions being lifted and insurance companies being held to a higher, fair standard, I just don't think the gov needs to play a roll in providing or assigning health care.

  • Ok go ahead and break the country with socialized health care, or have 3rd world health care. No where in the world do they have great socialized health care. Socialized health care SUCKS!!!

  • lol, dumb redneck, ignorant to the rest of the world thinks he can talk about it.

  • I might be a little redneck, but I am far from ignorant. I am a pharmacist, I work in public health as I have since the mid 80's. I was in the Navy and I know about the world. I know first hand what it would do to our country, and I know how much it costs and we either can't afford it or in order to afford it the level of care will have to be drastically reduced. Socialized halth care does suck, ask the Canadians.

  • This isn't socialized health care. It's simply a competitive option against all of the other privatized health care out there. If you like the health care you're with, feel free to feed them your money. This is nothing more than opening doors.

  • Yeah there are so many options being thrown out there and the documents are thousands of pages. Maybe you are right about that. What many people want IS socialized health care though, sadly. If the Gov. is going to compete with private industry it's a bad idea, they don't have a place there. I mean what, they are going to be the greedy HMO now? I don't get it.

  • Certainly the US could afford Health care for everyone and still have a lot of money if almost half of all the public expenses in the country were not used for warmongering.

  • wer hat bock bissl zu chatn ihr werdets nicht bereuen ;)

  • Lol, this video is rated four stars, I guess theres some conservashits here too. But anyway, very true, I hope your bill passes Obama, I really do.

  • Reactionary Republicans have always opposed any program that benefits everyone, not just themselves. National Parks, Social Security, Medicare, you name it. This is our chance to change a horrible system that primarily benefits insurance companies. We're the only wealthy country that allows insurance companies to benefit from our distress. It's time to change that and help everyone.

  • So pass a law that says they have to take people for pre-existing conditions? They aren't doing that, they're going to leave it just as it is and force everyone into a public pool. That's communism. There are 1000 things they could do that would fix her problem, they aren't doing any of them. You're going to get horrible care, horrible service, and they just aren't going to give you the drugs. Forget paying for them, that won't even be an option.

You think you got it bad now? Just wait.

  • It is not just the preexisting condition that is the problem it is also the cost. If a government option is offered it will drive the cost of private/employer insurance down due to competition. I know that in my state our Medicaid program is much much better than my employer provided insurance. I have seen the care that these patients get and it is NO different than any other care that is provided to anyone else but it is much much easier to get access to medical.

  • Jake, you are not looking to fix the problem you are just giving up your rights to big government. Your points on portability are correct but instead of let me buy my own coverage across state lines that covers what I want it to (like AIDS coverage isn't something I need so I shouldn't have to pay for it) the prices would drop like Chris Mathews pants when he is watching Obama speak. There are 1700 insurance companies I can get coverage from 1. The government NEVER does it cheaper.

  • typical and decent production .. I had this style in mind myself but couldn't get the person I know to do it .. the end quote script not there long enough .. maybe superimpose it .. 1 legal thought .. lost job but not because of economy / out because of health?

  • I became disabled 3 years ago, am still fighting for my disability after loosing everything we had because we can't live off my husbands S.S. I have no health insurance and surely can't afford it the way it is now...I support our President!

  • I have goverment insurance and I don't have one problem with it and I get the care I need. I can't imagine how people survive without it. A lot of kid's and young people are doing without health care and that's just wrong! I support our President's plan on this 100%. Health care, for ALL Americans!

  • Maybe one of the people who are living because they have a public option that's affordable and will actually cover them . . .

  • Hey, I'm just saying, there's more to it than what Nanny can do for you.

  • you lie.

  • There is no such thing as health care you can "take with you". Especially if you have a chronic illness. With an employer you get a group plan and when you start that employment you have to be taken. When you leave that employment they no longer have to insure you and trust me the insurance company will drop you like a hot potato. Ask me how i know!

  • Thanks Sal!

  • this is really great. sal
