Really what I think "Hammer meet Nail" means is that Horrible recognizes Hammer as his enemy, and that he's been beat up by him before. Thus, he is the Nail that Hammer beats. However he is now triumphing, so it's like "You beat me before, but look at me now!".

To be honest is a great taunt.

favorite song in the entire movie.. theres so much put into this song.. anger, power, frustration, sad-ness, and even love. you can really hear it in NPH's voice. :)

The term Hammer meet nail makes no sense,hammers,well...hammer nails in therefore its a metaphor of him knowing that he will probably lose this battle even though he is in his highest point of power

@shutupnavi99 I think that it’s more of that the hammer puts the nail in the place that it needs to be in to achieve what it needs to (holding up a picture, holding a porch together, murdering someone to join a club, for example)

I think it isn't hammer meet nail, I think it is hammer ME nail. It makes sense considering Hammer is in a position with which he would be the "nail" in that exchange of blows. Hammer meet nail just doesn't make sense.
