There are two set laws in the old testament , the Law of God and the Law of moses , the Law of God is the ten commandments which he wrote with his finger , the law of moses was the law moses wrote with his finger (God told him to write ) for the children of israel to seperate them from other nations , The ten commandments were in existance before God gave the Laws to moses keeping the ten commandments (including the sabbath law) is not legalism we must follow them and keep them .

In Bible days marriages were arranged between the groom and the father of the bride; when people divorced, they remained celibate,and didn't seek remarriage until the ex spouse died.What's more, marriage license, which is not biblical, did not exist until mid 1800's. Did he have different rules for people in Bible days? If his inspiration didn't change to suite mankind, then why don't we have the same rules as he gave Jerusalem? Do you think that people getting whipped or stoned according to Old Testament laws:

Look up wife beating on internet - Islam. (based on OT laws). Look up women being whipped in public squares for wearing pants or women being falsely accused of adultery when they are raped.

The bible that you talk of has issues. If God did not change, then GOD did not write the bible.
