  • Congrats on the early arrival of wee Logan and wee Quinn(adore their names just sayin lol) I'm sure they are just beautiful! If you haven't already done so, with being at the hospital with the babies for how long(dont see an update so don't know if they're home yet) but purchase the pack n play you will be glad you did!

  • I just looked you up on YouTube after nine months and found out you are preganant! May God give you an easy delivery and healthy babies. :- )

I didn't know where I should post this question of mine so I guess I'll write it here. I had a problem with acne during my pregnancy. Do you have that? Is it leaving scars and red spots? Is there anything you can (or are) doing about this?

  • ...The only thing I would say to help you make up your mind is think about your back and your waist...it was really hard for me to change my babies and having to bend....

..and another thing...I know it will sound funny but I think you should know...if one or both of the twins are boys when they have "accidents" while changing their diapers ...you cannot imagine how far the p** can go...lol...so I think having enough "waterproof' space is important too...

  • What works so well for us (and we didnt think about changing stations as well) was our pack and play. It has a changing table on it, and we've used that since day one! Its located under our bar next to the kitchen, so the bar holds all our diapers and creams and stuff!

  • also if you have two of them.. when the little ones get to be big ones and they wont both fit into the pack and play anymore, you have one for each when you travel... i never use the motel ones, and the one i have is a life saver! :)

  • pack n plays are a wonder also for when they are bigger... my little girl is almost 3 and she love love loves it! she asks for it!

  • I'd say option 3 because you won't have to bend over too much also because you have two babies you can put one baby in there waiting for a change while changing the other. Also you can put them to sleep in it while down stairs etc.

  • Not sure if you decided or not but having had 3 c-sections I do know you will not be going up and down stairs alot, nor will you be changing on the floor. So I would go with the pack and play, the babies can also sleep in it during the day do you aren't going up and down the stairs all the time. Plus you won't have to bend over. We used a cabinet we had for movies for our last daughter which was super handy!! But you do need wipes diapers, creams and powders handy so you won't want to be moving

  • From my experience if you have the money just go for the pack and play with the changing station already in it. I like you live in a mulitlevel and did not feel comfortable leaving Jaxson alone to sleep upstairs while I was downstairs cleaning and cooking. I too have the cosleeper from armsreach which I still use six months later but my pack and play is from babytrend which I also love.

  • I use the pack-n-play...total life saver! You'll love it! Ours is a Baby Trend the All Star for a boy but they have ones for girls too and it was about $169. I like this one b/c the weight limit was the highest. Which would be a plus since you have 2 babies that will be using it. Plus when they nap you're not gonna want them out of your sight for a second. My lil man likes to sleep on his stomach and I'll only let him when Im up to watch him breathe..picture me on the couch..just watching..lol

  • I use the floor, bed or couch, but right after birth i found it hard to move around easy, so we used our pack n play, i could also pop bubs into the pack and play were i was in the lounge if they fell asleep onmy boob i could pop em down and be int he room. I dont use it now, but we travel alot so it came in handy as a partable cot :-)

  • I giggled at "butt paste", lol don't judge me!!

  • I say go with the pack and play because your going to want one downstairs anyway. You dont want to have your babies sleep upstairs all the time and only used to quiet...you want them to learn to sleep down where there is talking and noise because it will be really hard to get them to sleep at a friends house where kids/ppl arent so quiet. Plus u can change the poops and pees on it lol

  • I agree with Pattig's comment with useless "crap" I didnt have a changing table or pad with Gabe, I used the pack and play bassinet (no changing table on it) and also changed him anywhere with recieving blanket....with Blake im going to get the jj ole caddy and my mom is getting us the mini pack and play :) hope this helps :)

  • your best bet is the pack n play because you can keep it downstairs and can always fold it, pack it & take it with you to a park or anywhere. you can use the changing station and the inside portion that is raised which helps if you have a c-section or in other words easier on the back.

  • when the nursery is done will you do a tour of it?

  • i love love the pack n play i think it would be really good but the weight limit is bad but i would still want the pack n play

  • 1st.. i jam to your intro all the time lol

2nd.. i know you guys already decided but i think the pack and play is the best way to go :)

  • Peronally Sarah -When It comes right down too it and espically when you are in hurry ..youll change the baby ANYWHERE in the house where its comfortable. I really found it useless to buy all this extra "crap" and not even use it. In general women and couples spend more money buying stuff that they may only use once or twice. The couch or bed suited me fine. Just think about this when you go to someone elses house or public place what options will be available.

  • You will end up changing the babes on the floor under a blanket when they are little older. Easiest way to do it!

  • You should deff get the pack & play not only for diaper changes but also naps and when there a little older for them to play in. I had one for my daughter and used it all the time!! Im 32 weeks preggo now and will be using the same pack & play for the new baby!! Good Luck To you and Congrats on the twins!

  • I don't have any children yet. Still dealing with PCOS. But if I were to get one I would get the pack n play. I think it will be nice for you to have one down stairs and I have seen many friends use this with the changing table and it seems to make it easier for them with changing the diaper. Hope this helps! :-)

  • I have a 3 month old, change him all the time on couch. We bought a changing pad and a bin to store wipes and ect in. Total 15 bucks at target.

  • Hey i think the pack in play is really convenience for down you..when i had my daughter she had a nursery and but since i had a c-section and it hurt a lot to move be moving around so we bought the pack in play for my room and it was awesome you can do so much with it.i would let her nap in it i would change her in it..

  • Are you tall? What about your husband? When I change my niece on her pack n play, it hurts my back because it is so loooooow (I'm 5'7). The diaper caddy is great!

  • we used a recieving blanket they don't need anything fancy for changing their diapers

  • I would go with the pack and play as well. It is just more convenient and alleviates you having to tote both babies up and down the stairs when they nap and you are tending to things downstairs. Plus it is always a good idea to have an extra one in case the babies are spending time at the grandparents house.

  • pack n play.... you don't want to be hovered over all the time... your back will be hurting... do you have a bedroom downstairs? .... you may want to set it up for nights/days that you don't want to walk up the stairs.... i know i wouldn't have been able to do it in the beginning.... all the best!

  • continued...the caddy. didnt use it collected all the baby clothes. I would opt. for none of them.be practial... throw a towel or blanket on the couch and change the babies there. you can get a plastic tote cheap and throw all your supplies in there and keep it next to the sofa... save your money. same with the clothes, bibs and onese towel... as much as you change and bath babies whereever your going to spend most of your time is where everything should be.

  • I have 3 kids and its so funny cause with your first you go out and buy everything then when you have your second you still buy what you think you need and its still to much... now with my third who is 9mths... ha I learned my lesson. I bought 2 pack and plays one with just the insert for upstairs in our bedroom and that is where he sleep till he was 6 mths. then I bought a second one for downstairs in the living room and that one has everything it was great a fold away changing table ......

  • We just had our first baby 2 weeks ago. We have tried moving around the changing pad but found what works best for us is just a changing mat on either the couch of the floor w/ a caddy for necessities. Low key, doesn't take up much space, nothing to store once the baby outgrows it, and just easy to move around as needed. Good luck!

  • i have all three. i love the pack in play, i used it for both my kids. it was great to put them in there when they fell asleep. however, my my 9 month old absolutely hates it now. it was only good for a few weeks with him. the first option i have on the table upstairs. the caddy is great when i put a blanket on the floor and kind of picnic there all day. if i had to choose one i would go with the pack and play.

  • I vote Pack 'n Play!

  • I HIGHLY recommend the Graco Suite Solutions Pack n' Play. We loved the storage underneath b/c we didn't have to run to his room to get a new outfit, blanket, burp cloths, more diapers, or whatever...we just kept extras of everything in there. He also loved the vibration in the bassinet part. We got ours off craigslist for around $100.

We also have an Arms Reach that we LOVE (must have for breastfeeding!) but it never leaves our room. I only wish it had the vibration like the pack n' play.

  • We have a Graco Pack n' Play and we love it.

  • I used the pack & play with my Daughter when she was a newborn. we kept it in our living room and it made changing her diaper easier. The one thing you may want to consider is the weight limit on the diaper changing part of the pack & play. I think it may only be around 20lbs depending on the brand of pack & play. Once she reached the weight limit we ended up just using a changing pad on the floor or couch. Learning for that, I am probably just going to go with the changing caddy with our twins.

  • @stephbolton1986 That's one of the things that I have to keep in mind, too. The weight limit on all/most of the Pack 'n Play Playards is only 20lbs which is GOOD, but won't cut it for long. Plus when they reach that weight they'll nearly be 1 years old and will be crawling all over the place LOL. How long did you use it for? Do you use it now still?

  • @SARAH25PCOS I used it for the last time once she was just over 2, we brought it on a trip for her to sleep in and she ended up trying to get out and fell on her face. But we used it a bunch of times when my neice came to stay over night.

  • I had Pack n' Play (bought by my parents) at my parents when I would go over there. my son and I were home I had contour changing pad my bed or in his bed and change him there. I had to change him at least waist height due to a C-section. I hope this helps. =)

  • @Mrselmore87 It is nearly inevitable that I'll have a C-Section, so you're right about having the changing area waist height at least.

  • @SARAH25PCOS : and---if you have a C-section you'll be strictly limited on the amount of weight that you can carry--and steps you can climb!! You may have already covered that I didn't read through all the comments.

  • i have one child and one on the way and i would go for option 1 easy to clean

  • @spuding87 Do you have the contour changing pad in a changing desk or is it free standing? Do you carry it with you where you're at for the day? I hope that made sense – my brain is mush lol.

  • Comment removed

  • @SARAH25PCOS i have the free standing one so i can take it where ever i am throw the day

  • for the first few months i never even used my change table i used the couch , floor etc lol .... id suggest even just getting the change mat and have that down stairs with u so its comfy for the babies =) also ull prob spend most of ur time on couch (feeding ) and floor with the babies anyway good luck

  • I would go with the Diaper & Wipe Caddy... just because it looks more convenient and it comes with the caddy for the diapers and wipes and stuff. But, since you are going to have a c section elyanecash is right and you are going to need something a little higher. My first choice would definetely be the caddy though. I have a question though... I'm also pregnant with twins (15 weeks). Are you going to buy 2 cribs for when they are bigger or how does that work?

  • @CARMI86 Congratulations, first of all!! To answer your question if we are buying 2 cribs for them or not – yes. The cribs are already purchased and the nursery is nearly completed. When it's 100% done I'm going to do a nursery tour! But the cribs we got are the Sorelle Cape Cod cribs with build in changing tables.

  • we love our pack and play changing station....used with all four boys

  • I almost feel like a bad mum! Lol I used a changing mat. No contours, no straps, no covers. Just plain and simple or changed them on my lap. I liked the ease if being able to use it where ever when ever. Would baby b be on playmat or bouncer etc whilst u change baby a etc? As that would be the deciding factor between a and c for me! As you could leave one baby in the main part whilst you change one. Also if you have a section (hope not tho) will you be better with a mat that can move wherever?

  • I would recommend the pack and play because when you have a c section like I did long ago you need something waist high. I had something similar to this and it helped!

  • Well I'm not a mother, I would say option 1 :)

  • I think that you should either get the contour changing pad or the pack n play
