I thought of a plot - She wakes up from a dream then later she wakes up from that dream. So it would be a dream within a dream. She would be dreaming she was dreaming of reality. Too confusing? It was great short.
great filming and effect, plus the thrill. One question, does Christopher Hanson give his music to anyone or with a certain agreement, because I always need to find music
Hey Dan! Just checked out the short-film and it was really engaging! I run a social club in London called The Culture Club and we plan to start a monthly film and quiz night with a short film round - we'd definitely like to explore the possibility of including your work in our programme. For more details email info (at) cultureclublondon.co.uk.
you've always been good with story telling in your shorts. Very nice work, there were a couple of shots I really didn't like but most were very nice, good to see your camera work improving.
@NakedJKid cheers man, yeah this was my first project with my new camera using only manual focus :/ Hopefully the camera work will be even better in th enext film :D
@bl00drusher93 Hi there, for the most part i use C4D for it's simplicity and ease of use. Yes i will. My filmmaking is my main focus right now but i will continue to post new tutorials for lots of software. I will do another C4D Tutorial in the coming weeks.
Fantastic film, but I would like to make few points, I liked the camera work from the beginning however, some cuts were longer than necessary, good style frame, loved the color saturation, and color correction, focus and defocus was nice but towards the end the camera gone a bit jerky and shaky hand held, and one short shot cut was sort of cross the line I felt but I could be wrong, as the guy on the nightmare opens the door that cuts to the close up of the door's handle I couldn't get it.
@NewAfghanCinema1 Thanks for the feedback. Be sure to keep in touch, as i generally do preview releases of my films bfore i release the final copy to get feedback. Thanks for your help
@danonabouncycastle hey no problem I always admire the good work and this is one of the best step towards the good film making, I myself have made over a dozen short and long film and I am thirsty of feedback a solid, honest feed back is what a young film makers like us needs I am looking for your new work in the future, your work's theme sort of matching my work I am into thriller, psychology thriller, horror that make sense and a picture that can speak by its own and pass the message you sayin
@Cantjeuh Sweet man - sounds good. Thmusic is by a very talented composer Christopher Hanson. If your looking for some good sounds, try video copilot products or the freesounds project.
All the best and i'd love to see the finished film - Dan
@Cantjeuh no i managed to contact him and get the rights to use his music - try searching the internet for new and upcoming artists as they are always keen to get their work out there, like Raise These Sails let me use their music for the credits of 'Reflection'
@danonabouncycastle hmm, thanks for the advise, I'll try and do that... the freesound project is a great site by the way, a bit chaotic but really usefull :)
