  • This is probably my favorite song ever.

  • I had this song on a cassette when it first came out. Needless to say I wore it out. Thank you for presenting this. I feel revival stirring in my heart whenever I hear this song

  • @AlanAlbro

I did too. It was my dad's. I used to "borrow" it all the time. My sister has it now, and it works pretty good still.

  • Yes praise a god who demands to be worshiped.

  • @landonsoccer12 The truth is, that worshiping God is the most loving thing He can do for us; loving Him is just and right in every sense of just and right. Not worshiping God is the very worst thing for us. Might seem paradoxical a bit but it does make logical sense. Worshiping God (which is only really possible by someone who has been born again) fulfills us; there is nothing more fulfilling. Worship is how we live our entire lives; to His praise and glory. peace : )

  • Love it! AMEN!!

  • This song has such a message of hope that we can be restored even though we are as filthy rags.

  • Pictures of true repentance touch the heart. and SO much more than the pizazz of our modern era

  • Steve Camp is awesome, but mainly because the Love of God is in him.

  • Wow... I've never heard of Steve Camp eva - he truely is an amazing singer and the words in his songs... I just don't know what to say, I'm stuck for words for once in my life! He is still around, does he still sing?

  • Steve was very popular in the 80s and 90s. Around the mid-90s, the Christian music labels began selling their labels to secular labels. Steve wrote a theses, I believe it was 1997 about this, how we should not be unequally yoked with non-believers in business. Doing this gave the secular labels the power to determine how the Christian music industry was run. He knew that eventually Christians would have to compromise their songs in order to meet the demand of their now secular labels.

  • He was right. Look at the condition of the Christian music industry now. The message of the Gospel of Christ is so watered down that most of the time you can't even tell it is a Christian song. He left the industry when this began to happen. Fortunately for us, he does still sing. He goes to churches and performs and minister, and he does not charge for this.

    CONTINUED

  • At least I heard he does not charge. He has a website called Audience One or A1M. YouTube doesn't allow links. So just google it and it'll come up. He also has a blog where he posts some very good articles teaching God's Word and talks about current events going on today. You can google Camponthis or go to the link on my channel page. You won't be disappointed. He is an amazing writer and singer.

  • He's been my favorite since the mid-80s when I first heard of him. His songs are not only songs of praise and worship, but convicting as well, such as this song "Even Now." Thank you for your comments. God bless you!

    In Him,

    Karen

  • Wow!! What you said is so true. Today's so-called 'christian' music is more of a grievance to the Holy Spirit than a lot of Rock and Roll.

Steve Camp is truly refreshing, and although I have been in Christ for 35 years, I didn't hear Steve until this evening :(

  • He has some unbelievable songs. Check out David Meece "We Are The Reason" and Margaret Becker "Who Am I".

  • Lovely song. Thanks for sharing this song I liked so much in younger ages and still like and love.

I have a son with Prader Willis syndrom, different from normal people. He is a wonderful boy and gift from God I love!

    Karen

  • awesome!!! Blessings!

  • Thank you! :)

  • Love the Video... Amazing Job! :)

  • Thank you, Nephtali. I appreciate that. :)

  • Dear Karen great song great video. This saong is very convicting. We need a revival in the church. Is anybody listening. We need to wake up now. This will be one of my faves.

  • Amen! Yes, we need to wake up now. That's why I made this video, so we can "see how far we've fallen." This is my second favorite Steve Camp song. "He Covers Me" is my first. And then on down the line. His songs are always theologically correct and have actual meaning to them. They convict and they testify of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I am glad this video and Steve Camp's song blessed you. :)

    Blessings,

    Karen

  • Great vid :)

  • Thank you! :)

  • great video- thanks Karen

  • Why is Hagee considered a "false teacher?"

    Please explaine...

    Thanks,

    Mary

  • Hi Mary, John Hagee teaches a false gospel in that he believes that Jews do not need to be evangelized, that it is a waste of time to tell them of the Gospel of Christ because they don't need it for they already have a covenant with God therefore they do not need to be saved. This is wrong because the Apostles were told to preach first to the Jews and then to the Gentiles, not to bypass the Jews because they don't need it, and preach the gospel only to the Gentiles.

    CONTINUED

  • He says that the Jews faith in God has never been replaced by Christianity. They are under a different covenant and do not need to be saved. This is a false teaching, another gospel and those who teach false gospels are to be accursed. See Galatians 1:8-9.

    Hope this helps.

    Grace and peace,

    Karen

  • Well said :) He encourages others not to preach the gospel to Jews. Yet Matt 23 "Until you say blessed is HE who comes in the name of the Lord". and John 14:6

  • That's right, no one comes to the Father except through Jesus. Amen! :)

  • I'm not sure if I should lable him a "false teacher..."

I find his sermons true and to the point. The "Jews" part of the message doesn't bother me... so I'll let God judge him.

    Thanks,

    Mary

  • Mary, This IS a false teaching and many Jews who he could have turned to Christ may now not ever get to and will go to Hell. Why would you support a man like that? I wouldn't want anyone's blood on my hands, and he'll have the blood of the Jews he didn't evangelize on his if they don't come to Jesus. The Jews are God's chosen people and we are to love them just as we love non-Jews. Not saying that you don't, but apparently Hagee doesn't, or that is how it seems to me. CONTINUED

  • Yes, God will judge him and us for what we do and don't do in this life. We are to EXPOSE the darkness and telling Jews that they are not in darkness and telling them of the Savior and that He did die for them too and that they need Him just as much as Gentiles do is condemning them to hell. It DOES bother me, and he IS a false teacher because he IS preaching another gospel than the one of Jesus Christ and His crucifixion was for the Jews as much as it was for the Gentiles.

  • Karen, I agree but so many times I ask myself - Is it supposed to make sense to us?

Doesn't God have the power to save in any way he so chooses? I think so.

"With God all things are possible.."

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD." (Isa 55:8)

    CONTIINUED-

  • It is ONLY by grace through faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved. There is no other way, even Jesus said this and I don't believe He would have said this if there were another way or another covenant.

John 14:6-"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

And so you see, to preach that they don't need to come to the Father through Jesus is calling Jesus a liar because Jesus plainly said that He is the only way.

  • Awesome, I loved the Video. I am Nephtali1981 a friend of Tim's. God Bless You, keep up the awesome work for the Kingdom! :)
