I know when one of these mechs appears there will be a massive dose of awesomeness. I'm a Lamia fanboy, yeah, but that is due to her attitude in the OG OVA. She never broke completely. Now that's what I call balls of cast iron (figurative, mind you).
PS: I also love mostly RR (Gespenst <3), but those super robots really have it.
Alt Eisen is a close-combat prototype replacement unit for the Gespenst Mk. II that we all know and love, piloted by a member to the SRW GAR club Kyosuke Nanbu(sp?) of the ATX team, who specialises in testbed models for third-generation PTs. Alt Eisen Reise, Alt Eisen's upgraded form, mentioned by SAITO2, can be considered a "close combat version of the Strike Freedom". Yes, that's how strong it is.
And both of those mechs dont hold a candle to Alteisen Riese. They are Nuclear Fissure using-MS, while Nuclear Fusion (same mass of fuel produce much more energy in Fusion Reaction) is the standard for OGverse.
You also have to keep in mind that Alteisen Riese requires a tesla drive, which is usually used for flying, just to STAND. It has that much weaponry and firepower.
That is a good way to explain how superior it is to something that using.... pretty much anything else other than a one-of-a-kind/PLOT! item actually. Isn't it?
well if they were going to bring OGs over we would have probably have heard something by now also Sony wants to kill the PS2 and no one publishes games on a dead system
Ingram, mmm,this game is before the envents in SRW Alpha3?, i see the characters form SRW A, W17 (she is cute ^_^) and... well, i dont see Cobray or Selena.
Kyo may be deadpan, but remember, folks....

the alpha series will never cross the pacific (Officially) but this one still might (the GBA OG games did)
although to be honest OGs will probably remain Japan only

Why not? Because Alpha series has licensed robots. Would take a long time to translate, and buy the licenses to send here. It ain't happening.
