americans are just as good as candiens at hockey. i play tier II bantam and my team versed a quebec league elite select team and we killed them 13-0. my team also went to a national silver sticks tounament cuz we won regionals and we beat 5 canadien teams. im not saying that candiens arent good but dont diss on americans when we are just as good.

best hockey goal I can remember is Team Canada, between 3 players, Mario Lemieux didnt touch the puck but made it look like he was going to, it slid right by him and someone else scored.. smartest play I've ever seen.

Had he made that move on purpose he would have looked straight on like he was taking a shot, and not looking around like "where is the puck?" It was a good goal, but Mario's involvement was pure luck, he just missed the puck, which threw off the goalie. I do love how people try to blow it up into some great hockey move, when in reality he just screwed up.
