Can you help me? i just bouth this TV cuse my old TV was bad to play Games on (60HZ)
My new Samsung D8005 have (400hz) and (800hzCMR) but when i turn on my Ps3, in the upper left corner the Tv says, 1920x1080 (60hz) why dont the Ps3 turn if over to (400hz)??? Its so fustrated, cuse i bough a new tv to get a more smother game. do you know why? Thx

@VicentiuB Not just yet. Toshiba's G-F3D sucks and there aren't any other companies (besides Nintendo with the 3DS) that have bought into it yet. I think 2013 or 2014 max, but they aren't going to be mainstream this year,
@morrousa1 Depends on how far u sit. I used to have a 46" and got a 55" but hate it now because it looks more pixilated because i sit about 5 feet away. Wish i woulda just stayed with 46".
my picture quality is a bit grainy when i watch blu ray dvd (ps3) on my samsung ue55d8000. i dont know why. picture quality should be perfect on this tv. does it matter wat hdmi cable you use. ive got the standard amazon hdmi cable 1.4. however the salesmen at comet recommended me to buy the monster hdmi cable which is a lot dearer. i was told by a mate that both do the same job. im not sure what to do. do hdmi cables make a difference?
@dasalchy you didn't answer his question. The misunderstanding is that those £60+ cables don't perform any better than £3.99 cables. I don't own the UE55D8000 television but on my Toshiba 1080p/42" a £3.99 HDMI cable works perfectly.
@FiLiPHRESH all lcd's have crappy sound quality. the thinner it gets the less room there is for proper speaker elements. it deserves a pair or more speakers
I would really love to get this TV, if only it didn't have the light bleeding problems all LED TVs seem to have. So I'm gonna go with the 51" plasma, instead. Just crossing my fingers I won't get any problems with that(buzzing, brightness pops).
