Expansion was decent. I rate DA:O 9.5/10 but I give Awakenings 7.5/10 because don't enough character develpment and it felt rushed.

also I give DA2 6/10 it was boring as heck a disgrace for bioware standards.

@dvdylan Have you tried Neverwinter Nights 2? It is on PC. Same game lineage as Baldurs Gate / Dragon Age. If you get the right expansions, the game engine improves. So, if you get the original NeverWinterNights2 & then get Mask Of The Betrayer & then get Storm Of Zehir, you will find the engine is "maxed out" as it were. Much more variety too because, although there are plenty add-ons which arent as important as those expansions (MOTB plus SOZ), there is a level editor- Infinite free downloads!

@awesomecoprez I think Alistair has to insist upon killing the archdemon.

But Morrigan always offers the ritual no matter what.

if your female she'll ask you to get Alistair or Loghain to do it, and whoever does the ritual kills the archdemon,

if noone took the ritual its optional, Alistair, Loghain, or the PC can slay it.

The level cap is only 35, and it's based in Amaranthine. There is a total of 53 new spells and talents, many new monsters, quests, etc. It adds approximately another 25 hours of gameplay. Pretty awesome.

Your Not entirley right it takes longer to make a videogame than to write a book.

The game may have came out afterwards but its been in production since before mass effect the story lines from the Game and the books were made pretty much in Sync the books meaning to serve as a prequel but with games dates get pushed back and delayed books not so much.

i got some inside info for you okay people wonder who the Darkspawn that can talk is... it is indeed Morrigans son! The reason: if a grey warden didnt kill the archdaemon all darkspawns would rise if grey warden did theyd die so they had kid! Morrigan did not want death for baby so ran it turned out to be an old god that matures faster then children thats why she ran away. So it is indeed Morrigans kid that is the talking darkspawn! thats all i can reveal for now i already have it anyways!

Good god I'm sich of explaining this...for god sake read Dragon Age: The Calling, this is about the Architect who has been alive longer then Morrigan, the Architect is the talking darkspawn in robes with the horns. The other talking dark spawn is most definetly a traitor Grey Warden, who allowed the Architect to advance the Blight within him to it's full extent hence his appearance. This story has nothing to do with Morrigan, maybe in another expansion but not this one.

In my opinion the guy in the purple with the bee hive head and horn is Morrigan's child that she has either with the character or however she obtains it in your game. You can see the buckles on the legs like Morrigan had and the Same shoulder cuffs as well. One arm is sleeved as Morrigan's is and the other not. This is more than coincidence
