  • What r u shining the laser at? Is it like ur wall? Did u like burn ur wall?

  • *Accidently points laser in eye*

  • you can see the beam becasue it so powerful

  • how come that you can see the beam?

  • @speedomike747

Because it's actually powerful, not some 1mW shit laser pointer.

  • Anybody try igniting balloons filled with flammable gas? (not liable)

  • I like powerful lasers but not burning ones

  • I might try this with a dvd-rom, may not burn but it'd still be a pretty neat laser, if i can ever be bothered :P

  • @paulzimmATgmail - DOT not COT xD

  • @paulzimmATgmail i have 5 laser

  • @FreshLevel1000001 what would happen if i was to use mirrors to upgrade the power of the beam ...can that be done with mirrors positioned the right way where it comes through something ...like harnessing the beam to make it more powerfull...u kn0w what I gettin at...let me know ok?...later

  • i have all the general electronics, and cd burners/drives, can i do this?

  • only on dvd burners or anything blu ray

  • that would make lighting fire works so much safer awesome

  • omfg i have a totally unused CD drive at my home, and a lil flashlight... gotta try this muahahahaa!

  • Why is it a watch in the left\down corner?

  • why does it make a red line that goes any where you point it?

    very cool

  • ummm because its a laser beam?

    does that explain it?

    LMAA

    (laughing my asian ass off)

  • becouse the light reflects of the dust in the air revealing the beam :p This is a effect you can see only on hi powered lasers (or you can fill a room with smoke and then you will be ablo to see even a 5mw red lasers beam)

  • You are very wrong, kipkay himself stole the idea, he just added it to a flashlight. All credits to this laser go to Kenom, he was the first to do it and even makes custom heat sinks. You have know idea what you are talking about.

  • Can you make a video on how you made the dorsi junior regulated flashlite?

  • wow very shiny red light what current and voltage can you apply to this DVD diodes laser?. thanks, i'll see that website.

  • This is now my preferred laser host - the Dorcy Junior LED flashlight because it includes a REGULATED power supply! Just make sure to put a 5 ohm resistor in series between the laser diode and the dorcy jr's power supply. I also used a special aluminum heatsink to house the Aixiz module from 'Dark Horse Custom' into the flashlight. Most everything you need can be purchased from StoneTek org

  • damn, you're very talented with this stuff.

    nice laser.
